Hema Jee, More power to you, and your effort to raise awareness against aborting female fetus. In 1987 I had predicted the shortage of females due to the crininal activity of selective abortion. I had become expert at trend analysis by simulating dynamic systems. I was aghast at what I saw in India. It is music to my ears when I hear someone has daughters. I never give a gift to a male child. It is reserved only for the female children.

@ombrahma i never said a female causes poverty!! i said she would increase it! i am a girl as well.i know how much money the parents need to spend on a girl.i said that it is not the boys fault that they r aborting the girl babies! i know that females r equally imp. but what i said was 4 poor people. rich people aborting girl babies is wrong n i agree!

@suryarocks97 Well..I have no Idea in what world you're in but just to let you know..I do not come from a very rich family but I studied and now I'm Working In Australia...I'm Proud To Say My Family is getting a lot of financial support from me and I am Not married so Im not dependent On my husband. And to let you know, I know millions Of females in India that has the potential and talent to get a "good" "proper" job to support their family.
