@andyjett As an allround musician I respect lots of different kinds of artist. Eminem is one of those artists who deserves to be well respected for lyrical skill. That's why the poster's there. (:
hey i was thinking of buying this bass but, wanted to know what neck dive means? can you help and tell me so i know this will be the right bass for me? thanks
@Twisted666Clown Absolutely. The only problem is that it's hard to reach the last few frets due to the body shape. The neck-dive thing just gives it character. ;)
The Epiphone thing is killer, but that simple neck dive fix actually works. Maybe they're just trying to remind you that you could've gone higher end with a Gibson, lol.
@TheVanquisher66 Sound-wise it's a dream come true,,you can really play anything with this bass.
However,,the neck dive-problem is kinda bad... It's something you'll have to get used to I guess,,I mainly use this bass for recording purposes and it fits right in there,,but if you wanna play an 1-hour gig with it,,I'd start working out ;D
@Sjeedie The neck dive problem can be sorted by repositioning the strap buttons. Buy a couple of new strap buttons and add one to the upper rear bout roughly where your picking forearm sits and another at the back of the neck where it joins the body. That sorts the balance right out. Here's a pic of where the lower button should go (the one of the far left),

@TheVanquisher66 Neck dive is a problem straight out the box. I doesn't take much to sort it though. I bought a couple of new strap buttons, stick one on the lower upper bout (i.e. roughly where you're forearm sits) and another on the back of the neck joint where it joins the body. Sorts the balance right out. I don't know why Gibson/Epiphone don't put the strap buttons there in the first place.

i just realized that epiphones are fuckin way better for goths and metal heads! like they goth all the goth guitar and bass....and the les paul nightfall which i fuckin love!! and gibsons are badass too but they just have the custom ones and they are expensive as fuck!
Don't feel nervous. Your English isn't bad at all. Thank you for making really good videos. You've certainly changed my opinion towards Thunderbirds. I've actually ordered a Nikki Sixx Blackbird.
Im a fan of twiggy ramirez and i really love the goth modèle the thunderbird is a classique of Gibson and i dont like my accent too Nice video of you got Time to loose Check my cheap bass video
Does you always pick it in the center of the body? The only other time I've seen this bass is Nikki Sixx, and he plays it at the very far end, so I was just curious.
Err,,I would say it's DEFINITELY worth the price. Mostly because you don't have any effects or special stuff on it,,just the equalizer. So you pay €129 (that's what I paid) for sound only. So it OWNS for example the Line 6 Lowdown LD15,,which costs about €119,,but has 4 effects on it that you don't need. So yeah,,you pay for a 100% sound and that's exactly what you get.
I'll be posting a review of both the guitar and the amp on my website soon.
Dude, i want that guitar sooo bad. The bass i have jusrt doesnt cut it.

nonmeaculpa 2 years ago
@nonmeaculpa I's just a difference in sound,,in the middle of the body you get more of a bassy tone while at the end it's more like high-trebled.
I now play at the end as well for rock & stuff,,but for for example playing Elvis Presley I play in the middle.
I bought the bass guitar the same day I uploaded this vid,,so I didn't know the difference yet n.n
Thx for watchin'
