@Twisted666Clown Absolutely. The only problem is that it's hard to reach the last few frets due to the body shape. The neck-dive thing just gives it character. ;)

The Epiphone thing is killer, but that simple neck dive fix actually works. Maybe they're just trying to remind you that you could've gone higher end with a Gibson,lol.

@TheVanquisher66 Sound-wise it's a dream come true,,you can really play anything with this bass.

However,,the neck dive-problem is kinda bad... It's something you'll have to get used to I guess,,I mainly use this bass for recording purposes and it fits right in there,,but if you wanna play an 1-hour gig with it,,I'd start working out ;D

Buy a couple of new strap buttons and add one to the upper rear bout roughly where your picking forearm sits and another at the back of the neck where it joins the body. That sorts the balance right out. Here's a pic of where the lower button should go (the one of the far left),

i just realized that epiphones are fuckin way better for goths and metal heads! like they goth all the goth guitar and bass....and the les paul nightfall which i fuckin love!! and gibsons are badass too but they just have the custom ones and they are expensive as fuck!

@pmandic86 Ik heb hem gekocht voor €259,- (in België) maar als ik alles goed heb begrepen was deze één van de laatste ooit gemaakt. Gibson (en dus ook Epiphone) zit voor de moment in een financiële dip, daarom heb ik hem kunnen kopen voor €259,- ipv €749,-. Hier deden ze uiteraard geen winst meer aan, dus stopten ze met het maken van deze basgitaar.

Op deze moment zijn ze bezig met het ineensteken van een gelijkaardige bas die ze dus voor een hogere prijs kunnen verkopen =]

Does you always pick it in the center of the body? The only other time I've seen this bass is Nikki Sixx, and he plays it at the very far end, so I was just curious.

@nonmeaculpa I's just a difference in sound,,in the middle of the body you get more of a bassy tone while at the end it's more like high-trebled.

I now play at the end as well for rock & stuff,,but for for example playing Elvis Presley I play in the middle.

I bought the bass guitar the same day I uploaded this vid,,so I didn't know the difference yet n.n

Err,,I would say it's DEFINITELY worth the price. Mostly because you don't have any effects or special stuff on it,,just the equalizer. So you pay €129 (that's what I paid) for sound only. So it OWNS for example the Line 6 Lowdown LD15,,which costs about €119,,but has 4 effects on it that you don't need. So yeah,,you pay for a 100% sound and that's exactly what you get.

I'll be posting a review of both the guitar and the amp on my website soon.
