  • I dag er det nyttårsmix: Champagne, svartkrutt og naseblod!

  • That big lad has the right idea...

  • Vodka, Kahlúa, melk og svovelsyre

  • This film is so deeply disturbing there is no point in trying to imitate it. Even the normally wooden Britt Ekland contributes (albeit with a voice over). Just brilliant.

Perhaps it's better on TV than the bigger screen it was intended for.

  • fantastic film, and yes Cage's remake was a howl

  • 1:39- Geez, who HASN'T this girl boned?

  • @slashermaster28 me =(

  • Could that barman be any more gay

srsly i bet even he knows his daughter isnt his

btw this film rocks fuck the remake

  • Sauemens og klorexidin!!!!!

  • THE LAAAANDLORDS DAUGHTUHRRRRRR!

  • Willow seems quite content to be known as the local whore and have horny old men sing about her while she's still in the room. She even joins in. Good for her. XD

  • I dag er det TVR! Tequila Vodka Redbull! :D

  • A brilliant cult classic and has, of late, grown in popularity! The original film was cut to shreds with important parts missing, for example, Lord Summerisle takes Howie on a sort of guided tour and almost all of this has been lost, what a shame. The original release was only 84 mins and the restored version, with edited parts put back in, took it up to 99 mins. Still though there are parts missing according to Christopher Lee and he's convinced they are out there, somewhere. Great Film!!!

  • I dag har jeg en pint of lager.

  • I dag har har jeg en blanding av vodka og blod!

  • Listen carefully, you can hear the dobbers' ass cheeks pinching tighter and tighter...and Miss Ekland is helfay as hell!

  • God stemning på the Mouse and the Donkey! (EY! Ikke lov til å si god stemning...)

  • I dag har jeg skyllemiddel og gin i glasset!

  • Hva har du i glasset ditt i dag Toremann?

    Vodka, apecum og geiteurin!

  • There is only one wicker man film, and its not that yank shit version,

they know fuck all about wicca!

  • @yorkie6687 there are just some comments you cannot let pass without pointing out the dumb arsed ignorance of the poster, even though you are aware that the whole process is completely pointless.

Wicca is a fantasy that only exists at all because of these "yanks".

  • I dag drikker jeg bare et glass pepsi.

  • The greatest movie ever made!!! Thanx for the shitty remake which serves to illustrate the brilliance of this 1973 version. Music by Paul Giovanni who died of AIDS. I remember first seeing it on channel 9 in NY as a teenager in it's hacked up form. So when it came out on VHS then DVD uncut it was unreal to see it in its intended continuity. The actors froze to death during october filming for a film set in april!

  • It won't be long, Saaarghent.

  • Radioresepsjonen!

  • They are torturing him, of course, or maybe that's too strong, maybe teasing him is more appropriate. No, on second thoughts I'll go for torturing him. They are alluding to sex and he is in denial over sex. A great scene, anyway, from a great film, far far better than the remake.

  • Ian Cutler on fiddle- One of the best players in the world !!

  • This is definitely a remarkable production. It's sad to see that people used to be so extremely good and passionate about acting just 30 years ago. Most movies made after late 90's forward have horrible acting. In this original Wicker Man, every single resident of Summerisle has acted so well that the atmosphere looks creepy and insane. What a great movie! Bravo!

  • she makes cheryl cole and megan fox look like plastic dogs. U dont see britt with fake teeth, hair and loads of make up. She doesnt need it, natural beauty!

  • Love this song and the music in this movie....the 2006 remake doesnt compare to the natural element of fun that the native people of that Scottish Island brought to this movie.

  • This is one of Paddy's favourite films of all time. Folk music, scenery, top acting from Woodward and Lee, and the most disturbing ending ever.

  • @thestrongtiger82 I thought the line was "...as the path that lies between her left toe - and her right toe." The accents were very thick but I thought that what was sung. Classic film! I stayed away from the "re-imagining" and, judging by past postings, I made the right decision.

  • And the winner of the best British horror film of all time!

  • jings! Have ye heard those accents? Whenever I watch pre '80's British films i'm reminded of the fact that almost all of the available actors were middle class thesps who thought the north was Highgate.

  • Just delicious, as is the entire film. You can tell that the "uncut" scenes are spliced in here, as the picture quality changes. Every single song, every scene is just brilliant. Note how all of these videos on youtube are 5 star rated! Buy the special boxed edition video set, which includes the uncut (no pun) version. They often show the cut version of television and you miss those great scenes with Willowdancing (even if it is actually somebody else's backside!). Wow what ta ta's!

  • What??? The Wicker Man is set in Scotland!! Why the NI rant??

  • The one time "Bond Girl" Brit Ekland, damn! she was a beauty!! The Landlord's daughter indeed.

  • RIP Ed Woodward :(

  • That cop is a goddamn party pooper. To th4 Wickerman with him and the sooner, the better !!! They used lions before, but this is so much better!

  • Lions? In Scotland? Damn we could have Nicholas Cage in a Lion suit punching out Women.

  • i think he was talking about when the romans used to feed the christians to the lions. . maybe?

  • This song and the film embody everything that I stand for! Christopher Lee's favorite (and best) role! "You were brought up to be a PAGAN!!!!" Heh, heh. And they don't make girls like that anymore, do they?

  • I love both versions of this movie. The remake is one of the funniest things I've ever seen, and the original is genuinely creepy as fuck (and has goddamn musical numbers! A musical horror movie! How awesome is that?)

  • Say what you want about the God awful remake, at least it had a man in a bear suit punching out women.

  • I agree the original kicks ass. The nick cage remake is a poor imitation. Luv this song. and that landlord daughter ass and body. made this gentle man stand at attention.

  • The original movie rocks. No need to remake if it is perfect already. Btw the main character looks almost like Vladimir Putin :D

  • she's got a great ass!

  • the fat guy in the green sweater reminds me of my dad!

  • that's oak

  • the remake sucks

  • @Gunnercv Try watching it as a comedy and it's brilliant, /watch?v=Mbb5lxGFmXI

  • Why don't you have a wee drink XD!

  • Does the happy Fire dance:)

  • where can I see this!?

  • I was able to buy the dvd on amazon

  • really? BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!

  • Disturbing movie? Are you kidding. I think it has a happy ending. They really did a number on the stiff necked copper. If Scotland and Ireland still practiced the old Pagan religion, they would be better off. No wars over a christian religion.

  • Why don't you think if wicca was the majority religion in ireland they would find some thing in wicca that would divide them and would start them fighting. Don't tell me Wicca proclaims peace among it's followers read what Jesus said and you would find the same.

Let's just understand it's not Christianity that leads to these disputes it's people's unwavering prejudices. I'm pretty sure wishing someone dead like that isn't very wiccan of you. Ask yourself what would Gerald Gardner do?

  • Get burned in a wicker man?

  • The cause of the 'Troubles' in northern Ireland, though when simplified to foreign audiences may seem like it is about religion, but it is about so much more.

It's not merely catholics versus protestants, although that may be used as a front.

The fact is that the top half of the country has a population that mainly identifies itself with Britain, the fight they were fighting was one of nationality and a feeling of being under siege (unionists) or being invaded (nationalists)

  • I always get the impression from this scene that Edward Woodward did a lot of laughing in the outtakes!!! I mean would you be able to keep your face straight at this song!

  • Truly one of the great scenes (there are so many) of one of the greatest ever films (and likely, the most underrelated films in history)

  • Britt Ekland is now officially the prettiest woman

    who ever lived.

  • more tea vicar? lol

  • i swear this clip is longer than in the version of the film i have. i don't remember the lanlord playing the bottles.

  • You have the theatrical cut. This is from the Director's Cut.

  • i've only seen the theatrical version, how much more depth does the directors cut have?

  • Not a great deal. Its worth watching if you like the film but doesn't change it much at all.

  • I love this scene. This is the most charming song, ever.

  • The barman's SO camp haha

2:10 - "Why dont you have a wee drink?"

which roughly translates to "why dont you suck my cock?"

  • A good pint never the less,a pint of bitter.

  • Nothing quite like horny old Irish men... Huh... Brits...

  • The actors are playing Scottish men, not Irish.

  • Ok, drunk, horny, SCOTS. There, now they've got kilts. Happy?

  • They don't turn out to be very nice people at all. Watch the whole movie.

  • Well, yeah. But they were all PLASTERED filming this bugger. Speaking of Bugger... That fat guy is GRINDING on Brit Eckland! YUCK-OLA!

  • lucky bastard he is

  • she loved it

  • Hard to believe here, that Lindsay Kemp is only 4 years older than Britt Ekland. Such is the film's magic, that we believe that he's her father.

  • Flippin' brilliant - the whole thing.

  • Not just a copper. A king-like virgin fool who came of his own willing. Such perfect sacrifice hehehe

    Love this movie!

  • I adore this film. Any fool who could refuse Willow deserved what he got.

  • A very clever film this... Blessed be X

  • The mouse and the donkey!

  • Radioresepsjonen

  • hehe, Ian (the fiddle player) looks soooo young!

  • This is one of the best folk-songs I've ever heard!!!

  • I'm doing the Landlords daughter..The movie rocks.

  • The bartender resembles so much to David Gahan in Its no Good..

    Great movie btw

  • My 2nd favourite film of all-time!

  • Love the tune. Can do without human sacrifice.

  • Pagans say "YES" to life....

Ok, we have to make a few death sacrifices, but there are lots of up tight folks, X'tian and others who need to pass on.

    Great flick. great song.

Give me that Old time Religion!

  • HA ! The Equalizer would have sorted these Pagans out ! Seriously, Woodwards characters disdain is superbly played.

  • but hopefully one whose regulars weren't followers of some evil cult

  • They only sacrifice one person per year... not bad relatively speaking.

  • Evil is relative. These people had no choice but to sacrifice to their gods for restored fertility. Apart from that, it was a pretty enjoyable religion! I, for one, would never miss a service.

  • As does the part that lies between the left toe and the rrrrrright toe!

    i.e. the penis!

  • I think you'll find Willow (Britt Eklund is missing that particular part).

  • yhshvh10 you are a numpty!.

  • also- If any limey offered me a "wee drink", I'd be forced to kick them in the nutz!

  • Yeah , sounds too much like water sports.

  • I know just how that policeman must feel---fuckin' euro-trash! - No morals!

  • Plenty of morals...just different ones...

  • That Howie has a damn sight more will power than me.

  • Anyone ever wonder how someone as camp as Alder McGregor managed to have a daughter?

  • Good point; cheers.

  • HaHaHa! I always say that!

  • Heh heh. Camp in an oddly sinister way though. Doesn't make the movie any less creepy.

  • He's dead freaky , the way he just starts playing the optics with spoons , funny and unsettling at the same time.

  • And the way he's so, ahem, permissive with his daughter.

  • Hey , she's got a job to do as Aphrodite's representative on the island...god , i wish i lived on Summerisle...

  • Maybe David Bowie was the Mother?

(apparently they had a gay love affair)

  • One of my absolute faves, I even have the soundtrack in my car !!

  • lol

  • When I heard about the horrendous prospect of the Cage/La Bute excrescence, I decided never even to mention it and hope it died a quick death. Luckily, that seems to be exactly what has happened. Nothing can or will touch the original.

Lindsay Kemp is kind of creepy. Funny to think he taught mime and interpretive dance to David Bowie and Kate Bush.

  • Absofuckinglutely!

  • they're showing the original version in my local cinema on the 28th!!! Cool!! Cleethorpes Parkway Cinema for reference!!

  • I will forever adore this movie and forever be sad that Hollywood got its sticky fingers in into it. But I also realise that it was the Americans (back then) who made sure The Wickerman was given a chance (while it had been al but written off in Britain). The remake was a very ill conceived idea. But for those many thousands of us whom have always loved the original, well, what can I say? I for one will take the landlord's daughter any time....

  • Now there's Jane of the Blossom and Doll of the Crown

Pretty Kate of the Garter And Star down in town

Fat Dolly who keeps the Red Heart of renown,

But I'll take the Landlord's Daughter

  • Hmmm...Count Dukoo was brought up to be a PAGAN...a Heathan perhaps, but not an unenlightened one...enlightened by the SITH???

Seriously, though....amazing film...the full DVD set a must have....

  • What a movie. This is simply the best movie to ever bless our world. The script, acting, story, atmosphere, and Pagan magic is absolutely fascinating. The remake is a crime against humanity. Hail to the Queen of the May.

  • Very nice! I like your videos.I like Britt too.

I have a brother named Oddbaugh, very strange indeed.
