e pensare che la Tebaldi non voleva cantare Aida proprio perchè diveva che la sua voce non si adattava bene all'opera e soprattutto a questa aria. Qui raggiunge la massima interpretazione di ritorna vincitor, recitativo e dizione da manuale, coloratura e rispetto della dinamica a limite della perfezione assoluta, legati della Tebaldi e basta, piani e smorzati dosati perfettamente. No, Tebaldi was not. the POINT is, being historically accurate, is using black face...back in the Romantic Eria, they did not import Africans to sing this role.

è una vera e propria lurdia , a me la loren piace ma qui è pietosa non sa nemmeno aprir bene la bocca, io sono soprano e me ne intendo , quando fa l'acuto non apre bene la bocca anche se in alcune parti mima bene soprattutto in quella iniziale il film si chiama Aida ed è del 1954

voglio precisare: non è una porcheria né il canto di Renata Tebaldi e non lo è nemmeno la Loren. La messa in scena è orrenda, come i film della romanità vista dagli americani. La Loren ha alcuni problemi a muoversi con quel vestitino da estate a Capri. Non sa muoversi con le spalle e per quanto bellissima è fuori ruolo e mal diretta, lasciata ai suoi vizi nel movimento. All'epoca le riusciva difficile dire di no ai produttori e ai dollari.
