The power of "Heart" is very useless if the show wasn't for kids.

Basically Ma-Ti (Heart) is able to communicate with Humans and Animals telepathically and give commands to animals.

He can also draw out the kindness of a persons emotions through empathic manipulation - only if that person still has some sort of morality within them. If they are pure evil. Ma-ti can no longer influence their emotions.

If this show wasn't so pussy - Ma-Ti can call forth a bunch a tigers to maul them to DEATH!

Actually she was from The Ukraine. After The Soviet Union broke up they changed the opening to say "From The Ukraine,Linka".

Actually, they changed that after the USSR collapsed, due to the Soviet Union not existing. The USSR dissolved in 1991, and Captain Planet was produced from 1990 to 1992. Therefore, midway through, they changed the script. Not a political decision.
