I bought the phone today and they only have the brown, I asked about the black cause I really wanted that color but they dont know when its coming. You will most probably find it in Doha because mostly all the phones release the same time in the gulf. Its an excellent phone btw.

no ways dude.. nokia E 72's world release is on Oct 12. There are several china models of E72 available.. probably you saw one of them.. :)

do a little bit of research before you say something dude, im in UAE now & im going to buy E72 this week. its been sold at |Al Futtaim outlets, they dont sell chinese they're Nokia's authorized retailers & you can buy original Finland & Germany models here. Try to check from the website Nokia(dot)ae & check if E72 is listed in it. They only list models that are out in the market.

sorry dude.. didn't mean to upset you. Right now, I am in Abu Dhabi.. So, it is not tough for me to check either. I just called a retailer in Dubai and they don't have this model. At Nokia(dot)ae, E72 is listed under "Upcoming Models".. Well, please do a review video when you get it. I would like to see this phone.. I only saw a pre-release model which looked very bad. Heard there were several changes done to the body and battery.. heard they finally went with Li-Ion battery...thanx anyways

E55 and E72 uses ARM 11, 600 MHZ processor.. but E72 comes with 128 MB RAM / 512 MB ROM and E55 comes with 128 MB RAM / 256 MB ROM.. Both are amazing phones.. The processors used on these phones are better than the one N97..E55's qwerty is not very appealing..so i would go for E72.. now it is your call.. :)

It is not yet released.. and yes, all symbian s60 softwares are compatible with this phone...In India, it is around Rs 21,000.. I am not sure how many ringgits it would be... i guess around 1400 + it should be

yeah I have... Camera is okay but not as good as n95 camera... video recoding is even worse.. i guess it is because it records at 15 Fps...

But hey, none of this can ever be a deal breaker because it uses one of the best processors..and it is an amazing phone...

E72 uses a metallic cover.. Metallic body was suggested for all Executive series of Nokia because it adds that "expensive" look to it.. I have been using an E63 and E71 and personally, I feel a plastic variant of the same phone wouldn't be a bad idea..Yes, a metallic body will leave finger marks and smudges..it is pretty bad.. :(
