The official game itself is in Japanese, but an "english patch" was created to translate the japanee characters to English letters, its sort of a glitch/hack for the game, so we could know what we're clicking/pressing xD

They won't allow you to play games from other regions unless it's their region's platform... so basically, you can't play a japenese xbox game without having a japanese xbox. lol

IMO you should get the second one unless you can get a much better deal on the first one because half of the songs in it are from the first game and they are some of the best songs from it (Biased, I know) plus it has more costumes and such.
