  • awesome tutorial. Thanks man, really liking blender.

  • hey is it possible to use a particel hair top make a pony tail hair style? or her hair tied back ? :o...

  • @1ard That's what I'm working on for my model right now. I still have some experimenting to do, but I think if you use 2-3 vertex groups and particle systems (one for what's tied back, one for the actual ponytail, and a third for optional bangs or other pieces that would be hanging down), then put it all under one material, you should be ok.

  • Thanks for another great tutorial!

Once I start brushing the hair, the emission and other fields become grayed out. Even undo won't bring them back.Do you know a way to reset the hair, so you can go back to changing the velocity without having to re-create the entire particle system?

  • Well once you did the test render I couldn't hold myself from screaming

    "GET TO THE CHOPPA!"

  • i think you forgot to unhide the specular layer for eyeballs. correct me if i'm wrong.

    great tutorial btw :)

  • @kosarock it's still there, just set to "transparent". it'll still show up in the render. in any case, if it is still hidden, it's only hidden from the edit mode view; once you come back into object mode, anything hidden shows up again.

  • @ward7299 oh, now i see. thanks for reply

  • He looks more and more like Arnold Schwarzenegger, hehe. Good job though.

  • @skyline984 ha, yeah with the hair styled that way, he sort of does :D might have to play with some different hairstyles

  • @skyline984 i think he looks a lil like bruce willias without the hair lol

  • Great Video again, man I can't wait until I get to create hair XD going to give my model an orginal look. Also out of curiosity will you also be making the body as well or Is this just from the chest up?

  • @goku21060 Well it's the neck up right now, but I was wondering as well.

  • @goku21060 this will just be the chest up. using what you learn from this, you can combine the knowledge with the original series to be able to create a whole character :)
