  • Jen really reminds me of sid vicious here lol

  • WE DON'T EAT MEET.

  • HAHAHA! YES. I used to watch this over and over as a kid. Haven't seen it for about ten years. Cardiacs are one of my favourite bands now but I had no idea until revisiting it that they were the soundtrack to my childhood as well as my teens. No wonder it all sounded so familiar.

  • 'No, the concert' classic....

  • YOU CAN'T DRAW FINGERS!!!

  • Lol!!! No wonder Maddies completely lost it. Brilliant French and Saunders sketch, one of my favourites.

  • SHEEEE KANT DRAW FINGAHHHHZ!!!!

  • An amazing and excellent parody of Gilbert and George!

I adore French and Saunders! They are brilliant! : )

  • This is absolutely GENIUS. I love F&S with all my comedy heart.

  • What was that thing at the very end?

  • This is siiiiiiiiick!!! I love them!

  • The music at the Start is By

    Cardiacs

and is called Burn your house Brown

and is off the Songs for Ships and Irons Album

  • they sum up a lot of modern art!, perfectly!

  • Loving the Cardiacs soundtrack

  • This is when F&S were way before their time. Totally sophisticated. Then sketch shows like Little Britain started dumbing down with lazy sketches about old women vomiting and the dumb British public bought into it.

This is what sketch shows are all about.

  • Absolutely, totally agree

  • Thank you.

  • c'est enorme!

  • God, I winced when that wrecking-ball hit Dawn!

This is obviously a parody of Gilbert and George, who've been doing this sort of incomprehensible art for about 40 years. Back in the '60s Joan Bakewell used to present Late Night Line-up, and probably *has* interviewed Gilbert and George at one time or another. (She was also known as "the thinking man's crumpet", and had an affair with the playwright Harold Pinter, but that's neither here nor there)

  • I have a serious love for Ms. Bakewell. She's the classic artsy lady.

  • Ok I nearly wet myself with laughter watching this. I love it when they make statements like this its so funny.

Dawn's character is hilarious especially 1.06 and 1.50!
