  • please give me a tutorial??? I have an EM1 and want to turn it into a keytar and this is a must. PLEASE. Check my channel for my emx1 work, which def pushes the machine to the max.

  • @2HCvsUO Please see video description for complete updated information.

  • I take it that this electribe runs off 12 volts?

  • @MrSidMan It runs with a 9.6 volt battery pack. Please see video description for complete updated information.

  • @eclipsedave thanks so much!

  • How much do you sell them for, btw?

I made one of these myself with the same batt and a similar plug

  • @VJFranzK I'm auctioning this battery system on Ebay very soon. It will be listed as "ELECTRIBE BATTERY SYSTEM". Please see video description for complete updated information.

  • Great work! I am also looking into doing this. The factory plug and Electribe show 9v. Seems like an 11.1v Lipo soldered to a barrel connector would do the trick. Having a package that included the recharger and speakers would be nice for folks starting from scratch. I have a ton of Lipo batteries laying around from my r/c hobby addiction. So that may be the cheap route. Anyone have a part number for the barrel connector used on the Electribe?

  • @smokytyrz I don't have a Cat. No. for the 9.6 volt adapter plug, but please see video description for complete updated information.

  • @eclipsedave Thx I bought the adapter and completed the mod a year ago. But thanks for following up!

  • How many Volt did you battery pack put out? was it 9v? Do you remember how many Milliamps the original Electribe powercord put out? I am considering the same project.

  • @nuemerik The battery pack is 9.6 volt, 1600 mAh. The original Korg ac adapter is model A30950. Input: AC 120V 60Hz 9W. Output: DC 9V 500mA. TIP NEGATIVE. RING POSITIVE. Other markings at bottom right side on the front of the adapter include LR60353, SAC, Class 2. Other markings at bottom left side on the front of the adapter include LISTED, 20J8, E82323. Please see video description for complete updated information.
