I try to open-mined unlike the usual O&A listener. I hate Ted because the whole bit is so fucking formulaic, Ted has a loud voice, and very inefficient business plans. Thats the whole fucking bit. Tired Jimmy stinks because the jokes lack any sort of structure, maybe why "it's funny" but I come from the school of thought that a joke is suppose to have structure and meaning. Tired Jimmy's "punch lines" being the most ridiculous thing he can think of just seems so beneath him. Jimmy can do better

@IITallikaII The ted bit is formulaic, becaus ted is a character. Many characters are fomrulaic. Uncle Paul fucks children, we all know that. Chip bombs, we all know. The beauty to me and to the rest of the people that love Ted is how Jimmy gets into Ted's inefficent business plans. You act like that's such an easy thing to come up with on the spot. Also the Ted voice itself is funny, as is Ted's backstory.

Uncle Paul and Chip are way more versatile than Ted. Uncle Paul and Chip can be used in so many different ways Op and Ant have actually "conversed" with "them(?)", Ted is the same old thing constantly. I personally think that's the reason we haven't seen "him" lately. And I Preform Comedy myself, and have done projects where I had to riff , it's hard as fuck. But it's like watching Jordan miss a free throw. Sure you couldn't do it but that doesn't make it any less disappointing.

@IITallikaII As for tired jimmy, that takes on 2 different forms. Either Pun Jimmy comes through or the one that you mentioned, with no punchlines or structure just absurdist type things. Which to be fair, yes Jimmy can do better, BUT HE'S TIRED. That's the point. If Jimmy was doing this while full of energy it would just be called bombing. It's funny because we all know his brain isn't running on a full tank, hence the absurdity.

Eh to be honest, seems like a cop out to me. And dude he is bombing, besides Op and Ant kind of chuckling Norton is the only one who thinks his randomness is funny. I love Norton, but he is barely functional right now. Jimmy works like a dog. And as I said I actually try to be open-mined. So I get your view, but understand there are minority of O&A listeners who love O&A and don't dare say any problem they have with the show to any other O&A fan. I personally have found that that Tired Jimmy and Ted... stink, and I'd like to think I have well thought out arguments for why I think so. But try saying that on Wackbag, you get crucified for having an opinion that the show isn't awesome 100% all of the time.

The things I love I love, and when they're doing something I don't I turn it off or put up with it in case something better comes out of it. No one can please everybody, it's an impossibility. I would just say I disagree on the Ted and "tired jimmy" thing. Love 'em both.

I'm sure plenty of liberals listen to O&A, and like me they get upset at Anthony but enjoy the open dialogue and dick/cunt jokes.
