  • Can you convert that to DPI (dots per inch) or PPI (pixels per inch)?

  • @bonsai108 Well, the highest magnified images in the animation has a pixelsize of 0.5 nm which corresponds to 50.8 Mega PPI.

  • @gusky180 Great animation. I'm doing an educational video about adenovirus. Can I use it? it´s perfect for illustrating.

  • viruses are small, but those viruses are medium-big sized viruses.

there are viruses that exist that are small enough to infect other viruses!

    -virology class

  • @50kT Well there are both viruses larger and smaller than 80 nm and I don't claim Adenoviruses to be smallest... To be able to "infect" a virus is not only a matter of size. Viruses lack essential mechanisms for replication and is therefor dependent on a host cell which provide with ribosomes and so on. Can you name your virus-infecting virus?

  • @gukyboy well i just remember my professor (Dr. Curr at CSUEB) said that these huge mimiviruses have been found to be infected by other smaller viruses, i can't remember what they were tho

  • very good, i from chile, yo tengo adenovirus en mi ojo u.u

  • @txpablofry I'm glad to hear that you liked my animation!

  • @gusky180 Yes, good Job :D
