I never play this on SUPER hard I play it on OUCH! SUPER is just too easy and OUCH is also really easy.

@jerk618 super is harder then ouch btw super first battle they do 4/5 damage on ouch they only do 2/3 dmg on hero.

anyone know how to change characters when off battlefield? i know playing through this, there are some places where they allow you to change up your characters, but for everywhere else, can you not change them freely?

i have beat it on the hardest difficulty, but i dont like the way they make it harder. they neuter your exp so you cant level as easily.

Yea. It also seems to decrease the bonuses that the player earns per level and seems to make the enemies stat bonuses higher/per level. Also it increases the AI of the opponents.

It's tough as hell!

Greatest game Sega ever made. This game alone was worth buying the Sega and Shining Force 1 wasn't bad either. I'm glad they finally put this game on VC!

Never thought of using Egress to level up lol o.o but then again I haven't ever had trouble with strat games like this one

Its jsut on super monsters can do quiet bit of damage doesnt really show until zombie fight , but they start 2 shotting people you will see in next video Huge rat does half hp in 1 hit. :P
