@weirdo1377 you are not stuck there, just use freecorder, it records video with audio without stereo mixing.

If it still doesn't work, then there are 2 possibilities. One, your audio card is not capable of stereo mixing. Two, the driver does not enable stereo mixing. But you can edit the driver properties and change stereo mixing from 00 to 01. BTW, do not do this if you are illiterate with a computer.

There's a new software available that makes stereo mix recording possible for ALL soundcards under XP, Vista and 7. Just google 'DDMF virtual audio stream' and give it a try, it's great...

thanks for the video .... just bought a new laptop and was having trouble finding stereo mix..... right clicking on your playback area and finding disabled devices did the trick for me ... then all i had to do was enable stereo mix in the recording tab... works perfect :)

My driver was only listed as "High Definition Audio Driver" and the properties said the Manufacture was Microsoft. But after fishing around on the net I figured it was Realtek... and it was :) I just went to their direct site, and downloaded the driver... It Worked!!!
