I think it depends on the size of your ice cubs. IF you use the big square ones, from typical ice cube trays, it may not work as well. Basically 2 of those bridge the blades. My suggestion, from personal experience, is to put either more ice in the bullet OR use moon shaped cubes.

I forgot to tighten the lid once and it did drip into the base, but there is a rubber gasket around the bottom so it doesn't actually leak into the motor. If if happens to you once, you never forgot to double-check the lid. It's a great product and I highly recommend it.

I don't think any of you understand how the bullet works, I make all sorts of things in the bullet...but I have the older model, so I'm sure the model they are using is way supior...low cost personal blender...but no blender beats the BLENTEC blender. If you live alone, by a magic bullet, But if you live with 3 or more people, buy a BLENTEC

I just bought my son a new unit which I think is a little different form the original the cups are bigger and it blends very well. I also has a blender attachment (must hold down lid to avoid overflow on the blender).

I like the Magic Bullet...It works well for us, The only thing that I wished the company would offer is replacement cups.

We make smoothies, chocolate moose, Alfredo sauce, and other sauces. Things take an average of 1 min to make. VERY Easy to clean, the bladed are good, The unit base is built very well.

I tried the very expensive Montel Williams HealthMaster, It broke after 14 days, caught fire. Back to the Magic Bullet : )

You have to understand that you cannot fill it chock fulll and expect it to work exactly the same...I own two of these and I love it! It does take a little longer than the commercial for some things, but you have to be reasonable when testing it. Don't fill it to the brim!

The magic bullet isn't really good. Too small with an underpowered motor. It starts to smell bad if you leave it on for too long. It is great for protein shakes after the gym, but otherwise I would stick with a normal blender.

Yes, I realize that, but it is annoying having to pulse blend only. If they had used a beefier motor it wouldn't be a problem. Just because it sucks by design does not make it suck any less.

I have one. Its true the 3 seconds is total bullshit. Don't know how it was done on tv, prop foods? Anyways it is extremely good though none the less and can do most things in about 10 seconds. Its really good on desserts and scrambled eggs!
