  • 0:16 SHARK AHHHHHH HAHA

  • @soccergod214 lol i was about to say did anyone else see the shark?? hahaha good catch

  • holy crap. I love surfing, but from the moment I'd see a shark I'd bust my ass out of the water ;D

  • I would shit myself if I ever saw a shark.

  • dolphin! ha

  • Yea totally a dolphin. And who cares if the waves are small. I surf the Florida Gulf Coast and the waves vary a lot day to day. Surfing is fun on small or bigger waves and we get both.

  • lota sharks down here in florida

    crazy

  • SHARK

  • Until the leftover Billi swells ,i never thought i was gonna grab onto what long-boarding is. Man i never got so much face in my whole time surfing. Also i am wigging to get limber and agile to do the old school moves, Sooooo thanx so much for posting ..Even though everything is falling into place surfing wise i mean if i keep on going it does seem like i'm on the right track and i just gotta pay my dues to score the F.U.N. end of it all...P.S. We hop those triple-0s too. Getting flushed rulez !!

  • shit a shark

  • wtf did you see the sjhark at 0:16?

  • ya no way, that was totally a shark at 0:16 crazy

  • at exactly 16 seconds a shark passes by!!!! wtf

  • its a dolphin. the water on the east coast is to cold for big sharks.

  • Comment removed

  • Don't knock the small waves. we work with what we got in florida. nice waves and cool dolphin

  • if you want great surfing come to La libertad, el salvador. best waves in america. sweet beaches, big ass waves, great weed. sweet place brahs.

nice dolphin by the way. peace brothers

  • those are small waves dude

  • those are tiny waves man

  • I saw a dolphin or shark fin on 0:16

    ~RL~

  • it's a dolphin fin, its curved

  • awsome song dude i can do half these tricks but the backwards surfin nicee

  • and to think this is where kelly slater came from

  • yea

  • the dolphins actually me. I swim around with that hat on every morning

  • Its Not a shark it a dolphin

  • ya i picked up a couple good steals on craiglist, oh ya thats probably dolphin or porpus, pretty cool lookn though, those waves are pretty much what its like in here in tx

  • surfside texas is where its at. where i learned to and still surf to this day. been having some pretty sweet longboard surf for the last week or so

  • note the shark at 0:17 ?

  • Dolphin

  • nice spotted.

  • those some good waves to get good surfing on

surfing is not that hard once you learn the pop up.

  • wat size is board in the beginning?

  • 0:17 could be a dolphin. They are all over where I live in Florida. Right down the street from Cocoa beach.

  • i really want a longboard for days when I want to really chill instead of shredding with my shortboard.. but I have nooooo moneysssss..

but newbish longboarders piss me off so much iv been hit by longboards so many times when a big swell comes aqnd they just drop their boards!!!! so irritating then I get hit in the face..

  • I picked up a banged up 8'6" longboard off craigslist. Had some holes and a chunk missing from the tail. With some cloth, resit, and marine epoxy to fill in and smooth it all out, its a perfectly solid board for 100 bucks repaired. It doesn't have to be new or perfect, like you said, its just for chilling out. I got one for the same reason, so much fun.

  • awesome video nothing like surfing while the sun setting with your mates

at 17 seconds is that a shark??

  • From reading the comments, the group is the aquanuts. What is the name of the song? Great surfing instrumental. Great video too

    Thanks,

  • nice

  • cool vid drdiana , i surf a 9x3 balsa longboard in england and france and would love to surf in shorts but its way to cold , keep up the "glide" cheers john .

  • Thanks for watching. The water is a bit cold here now but nothing like England.

    Cheers.

  • that looks like a hell fun sesh

  • As a bodyboarder I hate longboarders, but the sport is too much of a classic too be disliked, longboarding will never get old, it's just too perfect.

  • cool vid, im going to be surfing longboards thisspring/ summer in that area

  • corporal43, thanks for watching and good for you to have the opportunity to do some longboarding.

    Dr.D

  • I love this video too. The aquanuts Rock!

  • Great old school longboarding, GREAT music!

Makes me want to go to warm water and ride...

  • Thanks deweypug for watching and comments.

  • Some very nice longboarding. Try it with a Wavegrinder. Catch even more waves!

  • i dought thats a fin i live in cocoa and u never see any sharks.could be any thing . also the fin is 2 narrow

  • At 0:16 I hope that a big shark passed back of the surfers...

    Inbeliveble....good weve..good video

  • thanks for watching josecarlosfoca

  • Yeah..it's a fin but it looks like a dolphin fin. Given the shape and the way "rolls" in a sense would indicate a dolphin. See 'em all the time here in Va Beach and in Hatteras

  • Wait, is that really a shark fin???

  • Was that a fin at 0:16 ???

  • Yes, it's a fin.

  • Hahaha...mr. snippy!

    I was just being silly.

  • I wanna this sond

  • Thanks, it's the aquanuts.

  • i live in nc and we have pretty good longboard swells at our beaches, i have a 9'2

  • A verdadeira essência do surf. Apenas deslizar sobre as ondas.

  • Humblelongboards, I live in St. Augustine. There's usually good small swells that come through all the time, although we'll get some occasional larger swells that keep the shortboarders happy.

  • Where's a better place to surf for beginners that isn't near Ron Jon??..too many people there

  • yeah..cool..i love clasic sryle

  • i'll be movin to Fl. in less than a year. anybody know good longboard spots free of shortboarders and idiots

  • i see the shark

  • cool waves im innorth part of FL

    GOTTA LOVE FLORIDA

  • i live in cocoa beach right on the beach im 10 yrs old and i live in sandcastles a condo on the beach im sponsored by volcom and o'neill and about to be sponsored by hurley, if i when the grom comp coming up im probaly gonna become pro

  • i think someone thats sponsored by hurley and o'neil would know the diffrence between a shark fin and a dolphin fin.

  • look at 17 there is a shark fin in the background.

  • I think its a dolphin, it doesnt look like a shark fin

  • ...it's definitely a dolphin fin. shark fins are triangular and dolphin fins look more like the fins on a shortboard by being curved on the backside, at least on the east coast of Florida! :)

  • it would still scare the sh** out of me :)

  • Where do you surf in Cocoa? I usually am right by the pier.

  • HEll yea great video... Hey how is the Herb in cocoa beach

  • Looks like a wild time. and you used real surf music - cool! Keep the surf music alive!

  • LifesaGardenDigit1, thanks for watching... Summer 08 will go up in about one month... Getting great footage from early summer. Music is provided by the aquanuts.

  • looks like a really fun summer day!!! i'm moving to Cocoa in 2 months to get away from the chop we have down here all the time in S. Florida. can't wait to bust out the longboard this fall, especially after seeing your great video, awesome band also. thanks, 5 stars!!!

  • astralhed, thanks for watching... keep a look out for Summer 08. I'm putting together footage now. May have to do a series.. Have some great stuff and it's only June 1st.

  • IT syas 2007 in the title so next time lose the lamo sepia.

  • It was taken in 2007.. So that's why it states that.

  • Great Videao and Tunes - nice way to finish my friday afternoon at the office... I'll be out for a surf in the morning :)

  • Youtesters, Thanks for watching.. See you are from Australia..Did some longboard surfing at Snapper Rock in March this year. Nice waves.

  • It looks more like a dolphin fin than a shark fin...do a google image search on "dolphin fin" and "shark fin" and you'll see what I mean...shark fins are more triangular whereas dolphin fins have a convex trailing edge.

  • that's because it was a dolphin fin...

  • can't wait for summer ,nice rides...

  • Thanks for watching.

  • at 00:16 i saw a fin, shark or dolphin? Any ideas

  • The fin looks like a shark fin vs. a dolphin... plus a few minutes after that shot was taken a tourist was bitten in the thigh.. not...........

  • if that was indeed a shark fin, it's looks to be one big ass shark although i am no scientist (no pun or disrespect intended)

  • humblelongboards.. it's a shark the dorsal fin is shark structure vs. dolphin.. It's been the biggest debate on this vids comments.

  • cool, thanx

  • i love this vid, i can't wait for the water here in virginia beach to warm up, i'm ready to take out the 10' longboard, yea

  • HUmblelongboard, Thanks for watching... Be on the lookout for the Summer of 08 ... Will probably go up in July.

  • cool, if you're coming to surf, (longboards i presume) you'll need to check out the north in, send any questions to my inbox

    Dr. D

  • i think it would be the beast surf ever to surf that, coming from a surfer

  • Glad you liked it.

    Dr. D.

  • boatbuildercentral-

check out the dorsal fin, that's no dolphin.

    Diana

  • beautiful,

  • I had a group of porpoise circle me a few weeks ago.. they got about 2 feet from my board. One got so close to me that I woudl see his eye checking me out. It was an amazing experience but a little freaky since I was out alone.

The shark @ .15 sec... YOU GUYS ARE HARDCORE!

  • haha 0:15 shark.

    Dr. Diana

  • Yep, I surf regular at Cocoa Beach when passing through, seen a few sharks every now and then but thats the biggest fin I have seen that way for a long time... close call guys and gals. Had a great white swim under me in northern california once... But Hey its salt walter, if its wet and salty its got a shark or two!

  • Love this video, I surf at Cocoa Beach, and don't mind the flat days at all with my 9 footer.

  • bluescatin,

Thanks for the feedback and watching the video.

    Dr. Diana

  • thats like a strong swell compared to the gulf =p

  • great surf music vid

  • Thanks Kenny, glad you liked the video and the music. Dr. Diana

  • check out the dorsal fin at the start!

I went to go there this wekk but couldn't as the tropical storm was ripping it up!

  • awh dude, i wish i lived in a surfing contry

  • i love people that can have fun on flat days. and nice little effect thing its sick.

  • looks like a good time.. biggin it up to the cocoa beach crew!

  • Fucking sick lines. All those pussies in OC and Hawaii dont have to work for their waves, thats why the floridians always win.

  • dude theres a dolphine rihgt behide you sick! nice!

  • nice footage, those look like good swells, music was fitting also.

  • Dorsal Fin at :16, lol

  • Nice !

  • Great vid. Was that song an original? I liked it a lot!

  • Hi Netwolf,

Glad you liked the video. The song was performed by Aquanuts a "garage-band" based out of Cocoa Beach, all surfers as well. The song is not an original it's Spanish Blue by The Aqua Velvets.

    Dr. Diana

  • Cocoa Beach is cool...A shout out to Cocoa Beach Surf & Skate...
