I love this post! I remember this movie because it was my favorite when I was 12! I love how they are trashing it!! I am beginning to understand how the twighlight movies get made.
Siskel and Ebert's hormones were too old to evaluate this movie. Amy Dolenz became a recurring guest in my dreams, along with Kerri Green and Alysa Milano !
@Nikkita178 Uhh, they are well respected film critics, it's their job to review all these big film releases. I wouldn't judge them too harshly since they have seen many, many, many great and terrible films.
@zora99 it doesn't make a fucking difference to me. these old fuckheads are acting like someone physically FORCED them to watch the damn movie. ''they're taking 2 hours of my life and robbing it from me'' wtf is that? they are taking THEY'RE opinions way too far.
Name four reviews he wrote recently that indicate he's like this movie. They can't just be movies he liked that you didn't, they have to be movies with a similar style, subject matter, and execution to She's Out of Control.
"She's out of control" would be a perfect title for the life story of the drunkard, failed screenplay writer Roger Ebert except people wouldn't want to see it. Who could they get who is ugly enough to play Roger Ebert?
@harlanmiller Just like your idol, I've decided to be a critic. But I am a bit nicer than she is. Ebert co wrote the screenplay for "Beyond the Valley of Dolls" and that was quite laughable. By the way, Ssikel didn't like him/her/it.
@ZarahLean, I find it interesting that you say you're being nicer than roger even though you keep bringing up that he's a "drunkard, failed writer" & keep saying gene didn't like him, even though you have no way of proving that, roger did say nice things about movies now and then, he wasn't always negative.
by the way, you refer to roger as a girl in your second post, what are you, 5?
@ZarahLean, I just want to say that even though I like siskel, ebert & roeper, their opinion doesn't change what I think of a movie, I like hearing what I have to say & seeing if they make good points, but their opinions don't affect mine.
@ZarahLean, another thing, I'M the immature one? you're the one constantly insulting roger anyway you can but I'M the immature one. not sure what needs to be said there, I think it speaks for itself.
omg it wasnt that great but it wasnt that bad either & i like Say Anything but it wasnt amazing as they're portraying it 2 be. sometimes movie critics are way 2 harsh
@rachaltheradical I thought it was amazing, it's one of my favorite movies, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I hated Bad Santa but alot of people loved it
@ponygon777 . my opinion of the top 5 actors of all time: (in no particular order) Robert DeNiro, Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins, Tony Danza, Jack Nicholson.
She's Out Of Control was bad. I respect their opinion

like Bill Cosby, Tony Danza is a delight on the small screen, but so lost on the big screen

@ZarahLean, what's this obsession you have with putting down roger? if you don't like him, then why are you even watching his stuff?

@harlanmiller More mature than you, I don't need advice from tasteless "critics" before I see a movie. Karma, baby, karma!

Stand up in the middle of a bad movie and say DONT YOU HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO?! xD Love these guys

You know Ebert hates a movie when he criticizes not the film itself but the fact it was made in the first place, like a wrongful execution.

That movie is so creepy, look how Tony stares at his daughter's boobs while that Ferris Bueller song plays.
