We have now twisted the meaning of this phrase and apply it to every person we feel is the anointed of God. Let's get an understanding of scripture before we throw out modern day cliches.

1 Timothy 2:9-10 speaks of women dressing modestly. Modest is defined as not extreme or excessive, moderate. God expects women to dress is a well mannered, proper fashion. Our lifestyles should exude that of good judgement. We should be living examples of the Bible to those who may never personally open the Holy Writ. What you choose to wear speaks of what you choose to identify with. What is a woman trying to attract by wearing form fitting clothes? Is godliness exemplified in this?
