I have one in hawaii with ideal climate - got about 900 miles before it threw rod through the crank case (even with oil changes every 300 miles) - and made a LOT of noise up to that point - It's a cool concept, but a piece of garbage. Currently outlawed in Hawaii. Do a LOT LOT LOT of research before you buy one of these. Isn't typical gy6. No parts available and no customer service. you need machine shop and donor engine if you want to actually drive this. Stay Away. Or buy mine :-)
take care,,, with or without quality does not matter, China is saturating the world of any product.the world is moving towards this concept of transport. just enough to see the research of European brands, where the Americans will follow the steps. Beware of the hummer, mustang, cadillac huge and stupid amounts of iron, prepare it for chisels.
Let me guess, you need your v8 with straight headers or maybe your loud ass Harley. Ahaahahaha, such a fool. You dont even respect the engineering of this thing?
I didn't say it to be mean and with the way gas is going around here I wouldnt mind seeing some more economic Cars.. But the Americans love the big Cars.. I'm one of them.. Classified as a bike eh?.. how fast does she go?
No worries, I just read some off the wall comments sometimes. Sorry if I came across that way. There's actually a three wheeler thats coming out next year, made here in SoCal, I think in Venice. It's going to get 75+ mpg and it tilts into the turns. Just type in Carver and look for a trike. It'll be different, but same fashion.
this thing is cool but, I don't think you should respect the engineering of it. Its a three wheeled chinese scooter. Chinese scooters rarely last more than a year... I'm gonna buy one of these kill the engine and attach a honda or yamaha engine to it
yes, if you are thinking about buying a chinese gy6 based anything don't expect to put more than 300 miles on it. I've seen people get as high as 2000miles but 90% of them are totally fucked up within the first 300 miles/12 months which ever comes first. these are toy engines not real engines. If you are looking at buying a regular scooter might I recommend maybe a yamaha, honda, piaggio, aprilia there are more but point is if you want a real scooter engine you have to get it from a real company
@gtq838 I had a SUNL 150 for three years, I put 15000 (Thousand) miles on it. the only things I had to replace was a carb diphragm and the petcock. With slight mods it pulled 72mph. I changed the oil every 750 miles and that was it. I sold it about 9 months ago and it looked better than the day I bought it for $1000 including shipping from TX. I sold it for $1000, same as I paid for it.
that roof makes it look ugly but nice

Bah it's a gokart on crack.. or even a golf-cart.. that wouldn't last 3 minutes here.. one hit and you would be killed in it..
