this commercial makes me wish i could work again just so i can pay taxes!! seriously though, this ad is very professionally done and follows some basic advertising do's... it catch's one's eye, is entertaining while telling the story plainly and, is memorable..

i like many of the elements in this spot. the editing is spot on and nicely paced. there is a problem though with the use of logos. not enough screen time for the logos. maybe should have lost the Ren. Man bit to better sell the brand. the brand is TAXSLAYER not the Ren. man.
also seemed disjointed at the very end. not sure what happened but it felt like all of a sudden the commercial got kidnapped and held hostage by a renegade editor.
Execellent clarity and professionalism. The video edit is very detailed with awesome variations. The presentation was very grasping to a subject that much of America finds unbearable. We appreciate the fact that your enthusiasm has been directed to facilitating the desire to attract the consumer's attention once again.

The montage of his activities was very hip, but didn't distract from the product focus. As I recall paying 2-3 times as much on turbo tax to e-file, I was wishing I had seen this commercial back a few weeks ago!
An extremely cool and approachable way to essentially demo a service that self employed people are terrified to deal with. Coming from a self employed freelance creative type, it totally makes me feel like I could do my own taxes. It works! Nice casting.
