the highest goal for an instrument maker is to make violins? thats a lie. a lot of luthiers want only to make guitars or other instruments. i do want to make violins eventually, but i want my focus to be on guitars, basses, & upright basses

the violin was first made in Antwerp in medieval times! Fresco's have been discovered in the Antwerp Cathedral, that states this. It explains why most painted violins are to find on flemish and dutch paintings.
