The plaintiff said he had been studying with the girl, AND he's getting a science degree, which requires a bit more study than art / sociology / political science. The judge was proving to the man that, even if he were not with the 2nd girl, that more than likely she would be better than the hood rat. He quickly judged that this girl got by on her looks, but had a terrible attitude.

The plaintiff wasn't just educated, but he had a list of accomplishments. What the judge was trying to say was instead of her supporting her boyfriend, she jumped to an immediate conclusion and acted out, like a child. Yes he was bating her, but it was because she needed the only lesson he could give, punitive damages.

The blatant interruptions, her lack of respect for the plaintiff as well as the judge, she deserved it. I don't know if you've ever been in a real courtroom, but I've seen far worse than what you see in this video, respect is earned not given.

Classic example of what happens when you date beneath yourself. And when I say "dating beneath", I don't mean socioeconomic status/income. I mean someone who does not share your same value system. If you value education and career, and the other person values violence, then you two probably don't need to be together. A girl on his level would be less likely to act so uncivilized because like him, she would actualy have something to lose. (Job, scholarship, expulsion from university, etc.).
