I have one , workes good but my battery went bad in 3 mo... I've been waiting for 10 mo for a battery. my snapon driver is awful I've called snapon . they tell me the battery has been recalled. and they are waiting for a replacement.I've bought a lot of snapon tools. but unless my mind changes I'll never buy another.... I'll go to matco....
I had my CT6850 1yr 3mo. It lost all of its power. After paying $569 to buy it, now they are making me pay another $100 flat rate fee to repair when its just 3months out of warranty. I have been a life long loyal snap on customer, but after being treated like this, I'm done with them.
@MrRodknocker - Buy a Hilti. You get a 2 year warranty on the tool, batteries and charger and will pay less for a better product and after the 2 years they will give you a cost to fix your tool before you pay a dime.
I just got my CT7850 Friday. I was able to trade in my CT6850 and only lost 25 bucks on its original price. So far I really like the 7850, my only complaint is the Trigger. Sometimes it feels weird. Different from the 6850 but so far so good, The LED on the front is really bright and the included Flashlight that mounts to the 2nd battery is pretty nice.
i was just about to buy ct6850/6855 today, googled more info about two different battery, then this shit come up. DAMN. local snap on guy got it on a special deal. AUD$799+gst . should i wait for this monster?
@foxdmulder The 4850HO replaces 4850, the 6850/6555 replaces the 4850HO, the CT7850 Will eventually replace the current production 6850. we still don't know the bolt breakaway torque. hopefully something like 800ft/lb. keep in mind that both CT4850HO and the CT6850 have the same specs. the CT 6855 tho comes with li batteries.

Nice but I herd the price is in the range of 700 bucks with only 1 battery!! 2 batteries and 500 bucks is where it should be at.
