  • blow job brizilian style wtf is with the featured video!?

  • lol "This is a game I've been wanting to play with you for a VERY long time." -The Climax Entertaniment logo appears-

  • I remember playing this game. My first RPG actually. Not a bad game, very underrated.

  • Played it on an emulator, loved it, and I definitely never get sick of the monster death scream in this, makes it so much more satisfying, and so funny. I remember the gauntlet area where you fight enemies for gold and items was a pain in the ass, and the platforming was so much trial and error due to the isometric grid, but it was still an awesome game.

  • I love this game! Was my favourite back in the days, even better than Zelda. :D

BTW, why are trying to get NIGEL onto the top of the statue? I always just took the dog and threw him onto the statue. :P It takes a bit of skill though, cause you have to get the dog right from the front (and as soon as he bumps into you he'll just change direction so you have about a split sec to do it), but it'll take about 5 min at most. :D Other than that, great LP!

  • wow, someone actually LPs Landstalker now. I've been waiting for that to happen. Great game!!!

I know a difference between the US Version and JP+EU Versions. The ending was actually changed for the US. The scene is the same, but the text is different, and I don't mean translation different, but actually altered story.

  • OMG devil views!

  • Ink and Wally are whipped,.. literally.

  • "Make me a sandwitch, bitch" - okay, at this sentence, my mineral water came out through my nose because of laughter. And it was clogged a little bit, but not now. Thanks, Doc, this video is cure! XD

  • bwahahah teddy ruxpin ftw

  • I just LOVE that intro...

  • wasn't this Also on the sega genesis? cause i had it but i quit it before the first area, i was young but then i got older and blew the dust off my old sega and got a lot farther but meh never finished it dont know why... i should play it again but on my psp =]

  • Absolutely! The Sega Genesis is the same as the MegaDrive - it's called Genesis in America and MegaDrive in Europe. The cartridge I own is for the Genesis, but for some odd reason I decided to play the ROM of the European MegaDrive version.

  • good, im going to follow your lp, hope to see more episodes soon, im liking it

  • "Oh my god, I've been rescued by furries. They're gonna try to convert me..." XD

(this is, by the way, Loopy from the AIAC forums. To avoid too much confusion. )

  • Ahh! Hello there! Glad to know it's somebody I know! :D

  • I miss playing this!... Me and my brother got sort of turned off from it for a while after it erased our save slot >_> But when my MD is working again I really want to get at it again.

Actually I never had much trouble with the controls; the MD joypads are good for diagonal walking...

  • Don't get me wrong - I don't think the controls are bad, just different than you might expect. In fact, they're almost too good. It's hard to explain... and I'm not smart enough to do so!

  • @Bitchwolf joypads.....jerking your joystick and.... touching your joypad?

  • The heck

The people look like zelda poeple Nigel looks like Link the girl with silly music looks like Zelda

    Whats goin on :O?!?1

  • One of the forms of the final boss even looks like Ganondorf Dragmire... sort of. To be honest I never noticed any of this before!

  • Cough noted. Your microphone went funky. Beyond that, I've never seen this game. Looks like fun. Did you ever play Soul Blazer?

  • I didn't even notice it until after I'd checked it AND uploaded it. I actually TURNED MY MIC OFF when I coughed! So I have no clue how the hell it wound up in there! I must have... another microphone... plugged in somewhere... hmm. Never played Soul Blazer.

  • Reason I said anything is that this kinda reminds me of it. SNES game by Enix.

  • Ahh, cool, cool. This doesn't look or sound as neat as Soleil, but hopefully I am surprised. Will be watching this!

  • I just couldn't get into this game for some reason, thanks for playing it for us. From what I can tell its almost exactly like Alundra for PSX, the player characters even look almost the same.

  • Hmm, I wonder if you had trouble getting into it due to the controls? I meant to comment on them in the video - they're weird. Most isometric games just assign values to up/down/left/right, but Landstakler is... different. You need to actually move diagonally by pressing two buttons. If you just press one button, Nigel will walk in the direction he's facing, or turn around. It takes some getting used to, and is hard to describe.

  • An old-school game with opening credits? You know this game will be good.

  • It shows how seriously they took the game, I agree. It almost makes it feel movie-ish.

  • Doc what next Gen systems do you have just the 360?

  • I also have a Wii which I haven't turned on in about six months, and several DS Lites and a DSi.

  • Hmmm Landstalker sounds like a good LP can't wait to watch.

  • is this the sequel to solel?

  • Nope. I don't even know if there is a sequel to Soleil, but it would be awesome if there were. In fact, this game actually came out before Soleil!
