  • One of my most favourite battles in Iron Chef America. It was simply fantastic. Science vs Tradition

  • They should put in Heston Blumenthal, once considered the world's greatest chef, Gordon Ramsey, or Marco Pierre White on Iron Chef America, that would be a sight to see.

  • @TheTrit0n Now you're speaking my language.

  • @TheTrit0n amen to that.

  • 0:24 what is it ? look like lemon or something ??

  • after he said BEETS , i thought he was gonna start beatboxing

  • @witheredwretch2 LOLLOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL, me too....

  • LOOOOOL i like how its a show about gourmet cuisine and then a McDonalds commercial pops up at 3:08 lol

  • i don't think technology belongs ion the kitchen. technology is mew and cooking is something people through the years have shared. but im not saying its not cool how he uses it to cook,

  • @westonrox900 what about microwaves, ovens and blenders?

  • @dejEtack You know what he meant.

  • @westonrox900 lol? technology doesnt belong in the kitchen? ok...throw away ur stove then...lol..:P

  • @westonrox900 if you take that approach, then everyone should be cooking over fires in the woods. cooking has evolved with the rest of society and is no longer just a means of making food more easily digestible while conserving energy for use by the body. it's much more than that now. an art. just like with other art, it strives to break new ground. don't you think that when gas and electricity first came to the kitchen, sceptics had the same view as you?

  • @mistersavage23 that is possibly true. I mean. I of course wish there was a beet ice cream or something.

  • @FeatherWings78 im positive that there is. to me, beets are better sweet than savory

  • Now something you don't see a digital camera and a computer in the kitchen

  • Morimoto....hes lovin it

  • A challenge that Dwight Shrute would be proud of!! :)

  • What the fuck is with the Mcdonalds subliminal advertising at 1:21 in the part 5 clip of this show? What a fucking massively contradictory sponsor!

  • WTF?! Mcdonalds?

That has no place in kitchen stadium.

  • Homaro reminds me of Heston Blumenthal, they both do the mad science thing with food, and I'd quite like to see him on Iron Chef.

  • i love moto, homaro is a great chef/artist

  • Secret incredient: leek.

  • Morimoto checked sweetness of a beet immediately.

    He's very clever.

I think it's most important thing of using this kind of sweet foods.

  • Did anyone else noticed the subliminal McDonald's flash ad at 1:20 in Part 5 of 5? I didn't know Ronald McDonald was an Iron Chef.

  • I love this episode!!!!

  • Why is it still called a secret ingredient after they reveal it ^.-

  • just go with the flow

  • WTF is with the McCrap ad @ 3:03?!?!

    I never noticed that before.

  • in the interview piece they are talking about their opponents? so they know before hand who they are facing, i thought it wasa surprise?

  • @TheMrpalid

duh,The challenger will pick his opponent therefore they know who to talk about

  • what about iron chef? they know also who pick thems

  • I think they are given a brief time to prepare, i mean, they cant just think like that

  • no, they know in advance, and from Morimoto's own mouth, he has time in advance to come up with ideas for dishes, it's not like GO! invent!

  • i hate the dubbing for morimoto

  • I know, it's so disrespectful, but honestly, if it's that or nothing, I take dubbing.

  • Cantu. He changes food into science.... and it tastes good.

  • morimoto all the way!!!
