They should put in Heston Blumenthal, once considered the world's greatest chef, Gordon Ramsey, or Marco Pierre White on Iron Chef America, that would be a sight to see.
i don't think technology belongs ion the kitchen. technology is mew and cooking is something people through the years have shared. but im not saying its not cool how he uses it to cook,
@westonrox900 if you take that approach, then everyone should be cooking over fires in the woods. cooking has evolved with the rest of society and is no longer just a means of making food more easily digestible while conserving energy for use by the body. it's much more than that now. an art. just like with other art, it strives to break new ground. don't you think that when gas and electricity first came to the kitchen, sceptics had the same view as you?
One of my most favourite battles in Iron Chef America. It was simply fantastic. Science vs Tradition

What the fuck is with the Mcdonalds subliminal advertising at 1:21 in the part 5 clip of this show? What a fucking massively contradictory sponsor!
Chiefy220 1 year ago
WTF?! Mcdonalds?
That has no place in kitchen stadium.

Homaro reminds me of Heston Blumenthal, they both do the mad science thing with food, and I'd quite like to see him on Iron Chef.

Morimoto checked sweetness of a beet immediately.
He's very clever.
I think it's most important thing of using this kind of sweet foods.

gloomywillow 2 years ago
no, they know in advance, and from Morimoto's own mouth, he has time in advance to come up with ideas for dishes, it's not like GO! invent!
