When I was younger my parents got a porcupine foot brush. When our black lab saw it he began barking, when I saw it I let out a scream (very embarrassing considering I'm male but...) Where did you get this cat I want one :)
The stone cat boot brush was purchased at a local plant nursery a few years ago. But the nursery shut recently. Try checking online for something similar. These are a bit pricey.
