Why... That exhaust is abhorantly huge. If you can jam your foot into it than you don't need it on your 2.5 altima. I have a 2.5 09 coupe with a custom welded magnaflow catback (running a single pipe because Y pipes are silly and I don't care for fake v6 look and added back pressure) but my exhaust tip looks only slightly larger than normal, it's not gaining you anything past 2 1/2" to my knowlage. But I like your headers and your engine looks clean. Much love for the 2.5 altima <3

any altima is nice either 2.5 or 3.5. There not race cars. You want a car for performance by a vette or mustang. Modding a car is making to your liking. I have a modded 06 maxima. I can give a shit if your smart car is fast. My car looks good and that's all I car about.

@jaymax06ny Mustang, that's what I roll in. 2007 Mustang GT; aftermarket exhaust, intake manifold, tuner and ported headers. Now that's a performance car. ;)... But I like the looks of the Altima engines!

What's wrong with the 2.5? It has a barely smaller engine then the SE.. I have a little 4 cyl, and it has pulled with the newer Accord V6s, and it's not really that much slower then the V6 Altima. It's not that big of a deal really. The Altima isn't here to be a performance vehicle, but more of looks and comfort. I think they are sexy cars, and if you need to pass someone, it gets the job done. :)

saw u change the header, how did you remove the CEL? I have a 05 alt, I tired one & two o2 spacers on the secondary o2 sensor, but cannot remove the CEL.

HAHA my 96 maxima will SMOKE this alti. I have JWT cams, technosquare ECU reflash,hi ohm injectors, OBX longrunner headers,full 2.5in magnaflow exaust, Injen RD series intake, LSD auto tranny, 00 MEVI intake, and stock rims. Last dyno was 255WHP. Your alti wont touch it. My advice is yank that four cylinder and drop in a VQ3.5DE. and a 5 speed, or 6 speed from an SE-R. VQ power baby!!

@etriguerosjr I have a 3.5 with about 90k on it. Also have the ECU and TCM. I was gonna swap it into my Maxima but I got an 05 alti SE-R 6sp a couple of months ago. I will let it go for $1200. You will need to find a tranny though. You can use any trans that will bolt up to a traversely mounted (i.e. front wheel drive) 3.5. This includes Maxima, Altima, etc.

@dmnevels1 I have raced and smoked 3.5s in Zs and alti's. I have also been beaten by 3.5s. But these were SE-Rs and Z's that were tuned and had heavy mods But i will say that no N/A QR2.5 has come close. Not even fair. Now a boosted 2.5 has a better chance. There is no replacement for displacement. That is your lesson for today. Otherwise bring your Sentra to capital raceway in DC and I'll meet you there. You can prove your mechanical and tuning abilities for all to see.

@Zippythpinhead well my 04 g35 has.cf hood,mishimoto radiator,power enterprise turbo kit,plenum,iridium plugs with ngk wires,510cc injectors,full exhaust,Unichip,ferra 1mm oversize valve componets,cosworth forged 8.8:1 pistions,stillen oil pan,acl engine bearings,full hose set,brian cower 272 cams.with more to come.im doing a complete engine build and am not done yet,because im trying to find a tranny for the power(and that fits lol).im planning on abour 550 to the wheels.but it will smoke any G

@crzygutrsnobrdr Wow, sweet setup. Props for a real tuner! What are the capibilities of the unichip? Like wideband tuning? I like what uprev has to offer for EM stuff. Thats what I use for tuning, however I cant get the timing advance to stick on my SE-R or anything with 5th gen. ECU. The old 3.0s ECus seem to take the advance as well as AFR tweaking. I was thinking about getting a few JWT ECUs to slap into the SE-R and my 5th gen maxima. I think open source ECU tuning is the only answer.

@QuickScopingCuban You must not know much about cars. The VQ30 is 190hp at the CRANK stock. So, a 255 WHEEL HORSE POWER dyno is pretty damn good for a NA VQ30. Your 2.5 wont touch it unless you have a forced induction set up. Which I would guess sombody who calls themselves QuickScopingCuban, doesnt have. Im thinking you know more about video games than you know about engines.

Stick to what you know lil guy, go back to commenting on Call of Duty vids.

Sup bro i have a 02 Altima nice rims has a short ram like yours and all but the stockpipe that went where u have the aftermarket part. you know the chrome part..lol the mass sensor was right there how did u get that off. Cause i cant seem otget mine off.. wellfind the part to get it off. Canuhlp.
