aye been waiting a long time but its one of those catchy blur tunes that you dont get at first listening, then when ya do ya want to kna the words and there quite complex intriuging yet still jumpy and cachy, its not to the end , look inside america but i like it compared to coffee and t.v as it has that same guitar rythm, its a great summer song, and a lv it..

That's a great song! I have to confess that there were times in which I gave up hope of ever being able to listen to a new Blur song again (at least with Graham Coxon on guitar).

I agree that it is similar to "I just died in your arms tonight", but it is much cooler. Somehow, it blends Coxon's solo work with Damon Albarn's Gorillaz, but still in a very Blur manner. This song, hence, is both for old and new Blur fans!

Another and most important NEW great song by Blur. Absolutely one of my favourite bands. After watching the DVD No Distance Left To Run I got even more respect for these guys.

I really hope that they are going to make a new Blur album. The concert and this single proofs that they are still at the top and they still rock. So please, please give us a new Blur album.

@Videospawn Maybe I'm just on a kick, but there IS something about "Blur" that sets them apart from the competition. Their lyrics are poetic but not pretentious. And I must disagree with those who think they've heard this all before; not quite. Listen long enough and you'll catch nuances that seem hidden upon opening. "Blur" always seem "of the moment", immediate. These guys move forward. And if you ever forget it, they'll be happy to remind you.

@MidnightAndLulu You're absolutely right. But for me personally the thing that sets Blur apart from other bands is Damon Albarn (the other guys are great too, don't get me wrong). It's his drive, his lyrics his voice. Damon's lyrics are indeed different. As you said they are poetic but they are also funny and have many themes.

Of course it isn't only 1 man who makes Blur work, but I have to admit that it was Damon who sucked me in to Blur (I "discovered" Blur via the Gorillaz).

@Videospawn As "voice", Albarn will get more credit. But together, "Blur" have a unique sound. They don't "reinvent" or remain musical fossils, they just "evolve" as musicians. I think much of that has to do with allowing present life to inform creative decisions. In particular, Albarn acts as witness for his times + doesn't seem to consider life experience an artistic roadblock...
