From what I see, it goes up to 1000FPM

It takes pretty a long time to level off on arrival.

Actually, no - the indicator is just WAY ahead. The elevator doesn't even start to slow down until 5 seconds after the indicator says 28. It seems to level off just fine.

Sometimes the indicator doesn't slow down, but it does tell that It's going that fast. Like this indicator. Other ones that look like that the elevator is going 1800+FPM then to regular speed makes it more exciting. But sometimes it's very hard to tell.

It's an express elevator - it skips those floors.
