@1Winst Actually, I'd argue that their newest CD as Young the Giant is even LESS produced and slicked over than their album as the Jakes, especially Sameer's voice. Both albums are incredible in their own right, but moving in the right direction? I'd say so.

@patfree237 All opinions are of course valid but rerecorded material very rarely excels the original.

In the eye of the producer it's natural to try to make old material sound better but in doing so you lose the cut and edge of the original.

The direction the band takes will be the right one for them as they they solely have the right to decide.
