well i live in london but i going up to scotland next year so i might pop in to see ya & go out for a ride on your puny 12 & show ya the power of the 14.
@RoadcraftNottingham i bet when you go to the pub you drink shandy stop eating so much & save a few pounds up & get the 14.. my 14 rips the road...a real pint of beer...
@RoadcraftNottingham I've got a ZZR1200 and a ZZR1100 and I reckon they're more fun than the BMW. I rode my friend's BM and, tbh, couldn't wait to get back on the 1100 (of all things). Now that is a bike you can gamble your licence on...the ZZR12 feels more 'grown-up' than the 11 - which makes you feel like a kid with a new toy. If I'm ever down your way on it and we could arrange it, I'll let you take it for a run; you wouldn't ever regret it...
You guys can get away with a bit more on bikes than we can I think heh. Very few states allow sensible lane splitting and when they do the people in cars (being as ignorant as people in cars are) get mad.
@mcgoo721 It's actually quite legal in the UK. The only possible offences are driving without due care or dangerous driving if you're going too fast or endangering others. It's a shame some other countries don't allow it.
@RoadcraftNottingham Oh i figured it was, what with you being an instructor. I never understood other motorists getting so mad about someone doing it safely; would they rather be even further back in traffic, or have a few other people not contribute to congestion? I might be a little bit jealous when I'm not on my bike haha, but I'll give them room.
@altratronic Yeah I've heard that, and I was told people in cars and such get pissy about it. Which I never understood why they'd be getting mad; would they rather have another vehicle stopped up front of them?
Wow! That's a lot of bikes in your garage and on the drive.
That BMW sounds GREAT!
Was that an SV I spotted in the garage? How do you find it? I recently got rid a 600 Bandit (my first bike) and I'm looking for a new ride. I want something sporty but also something that won't break the bank on insurance! Considered the SV but a lot of people seem to find them quite slow. May I ask your opinion on them?
I did a practise session on the pad for it last month but found it really easy, the swerve been the perfect example of smooth riding been faster than aggresive riding. Stopping after was easy, it was all easy, but then again I have got 36,000+ miles under my belt on my cbr.......fancy a straight swap, the K1200 for my 125 lol
@penguinrobby...basically, WHAT A MACHINE!! It's like a happy puppy, wants to play all the time and the sound is pure music and poetry combined! Not sure I'll hang onto it in the long run as I do have a business to run and would go bankrupt if I kept everything I liked - lol. Re: the swearing, that was really a tourettes moment and totally accidental. :-D
your vids are amazing!

@mcgoo721 It's legal in California. I do it virtually every time I'm on my bike.

How come I can see your happy grin? :-p
Now remove the bloody "bleeps", we want to hear it all.
