Anyway, too fast, I can't watch it...

  • OH shit yeah thats funky!

  • love this version.. I heard it, before I even listened to the real version by Stevie, so I love this one more :)

  • I think the same... Bom bagarai!!!!

  • bom bagarai...

  • Who's on the drums?

  • Yeah... the King Curtis tempo, haha. NICE !

  • very fast but feels good funky!

  • Jk is the man........

  • its sick

  • Love stevie Love Jamiroquai!!! Like it sped up! If your gonna cover a song you gotta make it your own!! IT JAMS!!!!!

  • This must be the James Brown version. Hit me. Ouch. Hit me. Uh. I feel good.

  • Jamiroquai can do it fast, it fits his style. Stevie Wonder is amazing but to hear Jamiroquai doing it his way sounds just a great just different!

  • he has such an extrem funky style ... think noone can do this as god as he does ... hes a freak but a genius. LOVE U JK

  • Dope song

  • a twist, little fast tempo but its original.....for a copy! GO STEVIE

  • cool sound.....but a little TOO FAST!! lol

  • lol

  • @doncorleon818 it's acid jazz.. it has to be fast and hypnotic!

  • Too fast? Not any faster then the King Curtis version with Aretha. Check that one out. Personally the fast version rocks IMHO @doncorleon818

  • "cocaine's a hell of a drug"...

  • "Daaaaaknes...."

  • C00L

  • oioi funky!!!!

  • Stuart Zender had me smiling two bars into the song....then I saw your instructions about deleting comments about the song being "too fast" I started laughing.. I've been of fan of Jamiroqui for a long time and I'd say the tempo on this one is just about right! Thanks for sharing, J,

  • I usually don't like Stevie covers, but I've alway's loved Jay's version of this one.

  • I RATER ANY VERSION with JAMIROQUAI.. than now seeing Stevie playin with theJonas Brothers.. o other shallow stupid boy band!!!

    At least Jamiroquai has class...

  • michael jordan on trumpet

  • Of course stevie's original version rips it all, this one is not to be compared with. But hey, he dared to do it and I think it's not bad at all.

By the way, it's true that if you want to appreciate this you have to forget about the original song (personally I can't :-)

  • The songs by J that I love, I couldn't live without. The songs I don't love make me wonder what in hell he was thinking. This song falls into the latter category.

Either way, I still think he's f'ing HOT!!!

  • Yes I could bollock breath !!

  • GROOOOOOOOOOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is complete bollocks, destroys the groove, what an idiot,

  • Could you make it better?

    Then do not insult

  • How can you compare this to Stevie Wonder? I quite like Jay, but this is absolute shite!

  • Brilliant but a bit 2 fast!!! he is an amazing singer thought

  • BULL SHIT!!! They good but the Nothin beats Stevie Wonder's original versions!! NADDA!! Thank you! Enjoy! ( excuse my language; i get offended by stuff like that!)

  • The version of The Gadd Gang is the best of them all.

  • Better than the original and I can't say that about any other Stevie cover.

  • This groups SMOKIN'......

  • This is one of my fav Stevie songs and after readin' what y'all hadda say, I thought I might not like J's version (which would be near impossible as J'quai are my fav band). LOVE IT! This is what a James Brown remake of SSD woulda sounded like.

  • tooooooo fast!

  • yes too fast!

  • i forgot about jamiroquai... good version! very funkerific

  • Hey, mr. trumpeter~ gogogo!!

  • jesus, this one is fast ^^

  • jamiroquai are quite litrally the best band of the last god knows how long. JK is a serious talent, the band is amongst others as tight as a tiger, and theres not really any song they wrote that is not worth listening too. Classic band, making a classic sound.

  • Perfect definition my friend. Viva Old School Jamiroquai. Hope they get back to the roots

  • I think the original version is better but this definitely highlights how awesome of band Jay has backing his vocals.

  • Don't get me wrong, I do really like Jamiroquai, but this is just a silly version of this song. Just leave Stevie's music to the master.

  • No Im not getting you wrong, cuz you just showed us how much you know about music, just zero. Sorry mate

  • What? I can't think he made a single mistake. The original song CRUSHES this version.

  • he is bad ,doin his thing, like his style, hi is awsome

  • At least he pays hommage to the genius that inspired and paved the way for his band.Jay Kay got funk

  • would it be safe to say that this rendition of this stevie wonder classic has a lil james brown kick in it

  • YES !!! YES !!! YES !!!!!

    Very very good !!!!

jamiroquai truly is a funk meastro !

  • i actually like this rendition :)

  • ahhhhh yes i love singin this when i see my friends!!!love u jay.XD

  • Jamiroquai's the only Artist at the moment who's keeping Disco Funk alive.

    I LOVE HIM

    ;D

Anyone know of any new material by him soon to come?

  • just love JK! authentically awesome.

  • I love their sound, they brought back disco fonky awesome version of a classic no doubt stevie is one of his main inspirations

  • Wow! That was great! Im never disapointed by these guys and man do I miss Zender....Zender where are you???????

  • check out baby

  • Listen to Zender rock that bassline!

  • He is so Funky and gots SOUL, i think there are not so much versions that are so groovy like stevie

  • cool.

  • Thanx M.A. for telling me about this videoclip but I'll have to say..there's nobody like Stevieeeee. :)

  • I think this is one of the most under appreciated musicans in music today

  • Rock that old skool U Fun Kee jay boy.

  • so this is the reason why people keep on comparing jay Kay to stevie. he does a self styled version of that song. not bad.

  • i have seen about 60 different bands in concert over the last 5 years from all different genres. I saw jamiroquai about 2 years ago on there dynamite tour in adelaide. I one can work a crowd like jay kay and that band is so slick and tight by far some of the greatest music of the last 20 years just awesome

  • this is not bad,but no one will ever do better than Stevie ;]

  • sorry that's a dumb thing to say... of course no one can do it better than the author of the song!!... and this is not a contest, btw..

  • except in the case of Bob Dylan's all along the watchtower and Jimi Hendrix's cover :)

  • I think he could have played it a little faster! :-S

  • This ruïns it for me :|

  • This ruins it for me. I love the band, and this is a great video...but I though Jason Kay wouldn't look like such a dork. OH well, at least he can still belt.

  • Just listen to the music... :P

  • Thx!

  • to fast , rape of the original

  • holy shit I take it back. Different drummer. Great player. Well in the next few years Jamiroquai had a different drummer and percussionist and they are still playing...

  • Even in '93 this band was tight as hell. Jay Kay still uses the same drummer and percussionist, and in my opinion that is why the sound has stayed tight tight TIGHT. If only Stu Zender stayed, would be even tighter.

  • Not sure how I feel about this...

  • Damn that was so funky.. :'(

  • Nice funky jazz. Why does the black trumpet player keep looking to the left?

  • One of my favorite bands, playing one of my favorite songs...

    Though nothing beats the original.

  • ayyy, etaba jovencito e inocente jajaja. Gracias por subirlo.

  • joven tal vez.. inocente.. hemehehhehe
