music was better in hard corps hands down it toke me awhile kill the bosses on hard corp but it was so fun i still remember the first final boss i killed good time
how cheap of you to use cheats. you got hit 13 times and you had 9 lifes of which none where taken off. try to play the game without cheats you wouldnt come further then the first half of level 2.

this level is hard without being able to slide (GTR is way harder without sliding under his legs to dodge his kicks etc)

@rippinkorpse the reason they replaced it is because the overhead stages sucked so bad. but i do agree the music in the original was better.

I love the original Contra III but I have to say that this level is much more interesting than the overhead stage 2 on the SNES.

Firstly you must have the weapon "H" when you start the game,that mean you must get the wepon from the first stage...

well the hardcorps stage was made for slide attacks... it gets stupid hard if you dont have them .
