@Subscriber9192 im alittle late jumping in here too,but shadow isn't faster then sonic. his shoes allow him to run at speeds equal to sonic until sonic breaks the speed barrier in which case shadow can't match that speed. If you want more details on it lots and I mean lots of discussion boards accross google one in paticular that actually has a quote from sega saying sonic is indeed faster. Also something about it in the back of the booklet of shadow the hedgehog game.
