@miditrax I've always thought that these gospel recordings and singers from the 1950s-60s were great! Roberta, Clara and Mahalia didn't need autotune. Today, singers autotune everything to hide blemishes and hide the fact that they simply don't have the same vocal talent that the singers of the past did. My point with this video is, while modern singers apply autotune to their mediocre vocals to sound ok, applying autotune to excellent vocals such as these can have the extreme opposite effect.
@DaSourcespr06 Delores Washington sounded like she was ready to be sampled by J. Moss at 7:08, LOL!! Ruth and Sallie sounded like they were ready for duets with Rihanna, LMAO!!!
