I know of a horrible scam in the far east. Job offers in USA/UK are promised for a fee. Paperwork/visas are arranged (fake) and agents sent to collect the cash. The agents think they are working for a legit company and give the money collected to the boss and receive a small cut as wages.

When the scam is revealed when nobody can go to live and work abroad the scammers can blame it all on the agents as no money is traceable to the 'boss'.

Truly horrific (agents face jail) and very clever.
