Oh so obviously you don't have a life if you go to a NASCAR race? Fucking idiot. There is alot more that happens at the track during the week than just the race on sunday.
That's a prime example of why every ticket to a motorsports event carries the disclaimer "Motorsports are Dangerous, spectators attend at their own risk". While tracks and promoters try to minimise any risk to the spectators, there is only so much that can be done.
Personally, having seen what a wheel can do when it enters a crowd at speed, I'm just glad that no-one was hurt. Had the wheel landed 10feet either side, there could have been some serious injuries...
