What I have noticed is that some army books look stunning and are very well designed this one being perfect making me want to buy it, however I have seen the ogre kingdoms one which looks very ugly

It's not called a codex, only warhammer 40k army books are called Codex's. Warhammer army books are simply called army books.

phill kelly wrote the new chaos book and he made them virtulay in vinceble and beastmen are nere impossible to beat

my mane problem with this is that the good guys are weeklings and thats not fair they should even out the armys not make the bad guys invincleble well nearly

Garh! GW-books are in decline! My Ogre Kingdoms army book have colored unit-description pages on top of the "creative" section.

I know color isn't "important" but this screams "how much can we cut-back production costs and maximize profit!?" - without quality-consideration.

well all i can say is that i am doing a conversion army in 40k and i am going to use the new beast men models but i am NOT going to use that new color scheme for their flesh... their beast not humans the pink skin makes them look very weird and not cool. so i am going with a beastile brown color scheme! (lol i know i am using a beast themed army and using beastile brown as their flesh color lol XD i see the irony)

I did not like the way they painted them up in the last army book - all the same colour did not look right to me- so I painted my son's beastmen in various colours ranging from albino white , browns and black

hmm very interesting tell me how did that turn out? did it look good? would u think for my beast marines that i should paint their fur in different colors like that?

I think it looks better personally , I think as long as you also have a common theme running through the unit / army to tie them together as well

well they will have a light grey armor though certian units may have different armor color like my Beast Terminators will be black armor instead i am sure of now or maybe a dark red. but yea hmm i might just stick with a brown color it would save me money in the end though i still have many paints collected hehe ;)

I will put a vid of my son's beastmen army up at some stage as well. its quite monster heavy !

Ambush is there but its nerfed. Better do it with small ungor units as opposed to big gor ones.

my bet is 30 days til the pages start falling out. :) Gw needs a new press company. all my books from the latest High Elf book fall apart very easy. especially the back pages.

the bigger the book the more likley the pages to fall out from them :P The space marine book was almost 100 pages and fell apart very quickly lol.

Glad the space wolves book is smaller. Its still holding
