There is a certain law or stream of thought in poetry that states obscure is good. It's supposed to make us strain our brains. That being said...I can't imagine anyone singing this any better whatever it means.

Beautiful. No-one else sang, or will ever sing it like she does. I was lucky to watch this when she performed it at the Juno awards several years ago, although it was 'only' on TV. Almost live. :)

It is still my favourite version though. There's more passion and she was on her home turf. The crowd went mad. Still remember the goosebumps.
