@chrisleneil thankyou... this is the guy wearing the shirt at hollywood :D i still have some pictures.. thanks again for your comment and please share it with friends and family... my school also has another song we did for 2010 :) i hope you enjoy it
Fantastic Job! Just heard about it on the news...gives me hope for my boys (ages 4 & 7), that they too can be part of something special when they grow up...You should all be very proud of yourselves...
As a lifelong student of history, I see this as yet another indoctrination project by the school system and that is very sad if school credit was given in any way for this effort.
However, it was beautifully put together, good job to the students, however abhorrent the message may be.
I love the blending the message and images, and music. Beautiful editing. Thinking globally acting and visualizing locally. Nice job. You put Weston on the map.
i am a former student and allumni of weston collegiate . I am so proud of my former school doing something of this magnatude...... tell ms urosevic i said hello i used to be in her spainsh class wayne
Great positive work! Keep you heads up, aim for the sky and above, know that you can achieve greatness just maintain focus, think positive and do positive!
Secondly at izuma123. Obama had a greater impact worldwide and since Canada is such a multicultural country. and Weston being even a more multicultural school with alot of different cultures. Therefore it only makes sense to send the greater messages to us students in Weston by looking at things in the bigger picture. and Like miss Price said, his speech had more universal ideas.
From a viewers perspective, the timing and scenes are well organized. The music keeps us on our edge! And most importantly, the video highlights Obama`s message.
I'm a big Obama fan myself, but Michelle Jean became the first black Governor General right here in Canada back in 2005. Surely we should be showing pride in that accomplishment more than we do in the individual our neighbours to the south elected.
After we finished The Obama Song, I looked up speeches by Michelle Jean to do a Canadian tribute. Jean's speeches (that I found) are all very topical. Obama's speech offered lines that are universal.
I still think that a Canadian version is worth pursuing and perhaps we will continue to search out good audio of Michelle Jean, but in the meantime, you are more than welcome to make your own tribute to her.
Luckily, I am not the only person in Canada with a computer and a video camera.
I can probably answer that. Yeah, the vid was AMAZING, and the reason why I think Canadians are so interested in Obama, is most people believe he made history, that being a colored president, and being such a powerful speaker that he may have won us over. He is with most people on ending so many things, then again, I could be wrong, this is only MY opinion and I'm not into politics. But if you ask some Canadians, you might get you answer!
You guys did a BEAUTIFUL job. You really have captured President Obama's message and combined it with amazing talent. Congrats WCI!! I hope Mr. President will see this :)
Fellow Canadian citizens ( students and educators) and citizens of this world, you have made yourselves proud along with all Canadians, continue on your journey with your beliefs in that things can change, we all hold the power. Thank -you for showing us your power, strengths and talents . Many Blessings to each and everyone ...that had a part in the creation of this video . I think Obama and his family and supporters along with his critics will find the message in this video...
Excellent job Weston! I hope you make it to the White House! I'm gonna post to FB too so all my friends can see it too.... peace, love and unity to all!♥♥♥

Why is he so special? He doesn't need words, you can feel how different it is. He is one of the greatest just by being himself.

President Obama said basically the same things as President Bush - just different word choice, same meanings.
Why is he so special?
