I don't believe the German tanks were so complicated they had tons of problems, it was the fact the Germans were such perfectionists that the German tanks took months to make and they were to last 60+ years. It was the German's pride in their work that killed them.

yes very good but the skirmish is a bit hard they always get tanks erly and when ya think uv got a territory secerd they take another so u have to split your foces but over all its a great challege its well fun

On a mobile battlefield, though, the Sherman can outmaneuver most German tanks, and in a crosscountry campaign where hundreds of miles are being traveled in a short amount of time, the heavier German tanks are going to need a lot more maintenance (and gas).

@dinokitty yeah they had 50,000 of them in ww2 (50,000 shermans!) put a jadgtiger could take out 10 Shermans! but only around70-80 jadgtigers were made :(

Play a replay under the skirmish menu option (you might have to change the saved game type to 'Recorded' via the drop down menu). Once replay starts, on the bottom right corner of the screen there should be a panel that has three tick boxes. One of them should be cinematic(mode). Click on this and the other two to maximize your viewing pleasure. It's not too bad but it aint perfect and it sure beats trying to capture the critical moments of battle manually.
Praetorian, he didn't really destroy that Sherman by smashing it in between the two tanks. It only looks that way. The Panzers come in from the Sherman's flanks and shoot simultaneouly, as they are so close you don't actually see the shot. Then the Panzers continue to converge and run over the empty hulk of the once-Sherman. It all happens very quickly, so it seems like they are "smashing" it without firing a shot. Just letting you know, wouldn't want you trying this in a real game ^___^

The German tanks were better, but a lost sherman could be replaced in 36hrs. besides German tanks were so complicated they had tons of problems.
