I found a dragon sword right before deciding to take this boss on. One of the easiest boss fights I've had in a long time, and considering this is Demon's Souls, that's saying something.

This boss kept healing when I shot arrows. I got so frustrated I went in the water and killed him with two sings of my sword. Word of advice to anyone about to fight this guy just kill him up close.

I also think the arrow tactic works waaay better against tower knight/armor spider since this guy will die ventually only after uve used up a great deal of arrows (since he regenerates) this guy becomes fun if u leap dow, get a good melee weapon an put some turpentine on it
Yea, coming in it looks like you're going to be entering a killhole at the bottom of the ramp with no time to respond to his attacks. But there is plenty of time if you stay at the periphery of the arena
a shame really, when you see the cutscene of him it looks so epic but he's so easy to beat if you have average skill at the game, BUT the fact that the easier bosses look so epic may be a thumb at other games lol
I killed that thing in three minutes on my first try. With a level one dragon longsword. And virtually no armor. And without half my health and no healing items. At level 53. Tsk, tsk, Atlus.
I thought this was going to be hard when I kept getting splattered on the way down the ramp but killed in within seconds after setting my 6+ spear alight, easiest boss yet as a result.
no same here. this boss is actually really easy, if you have some decent armour and go melee. even easier if you use fire magic or turpentine your sword.
@bazooka1hitko Firestorm is the imba antiboss spell mages get to play with, in all fair honesty, I believe its ok really, since most mages suck at pvp they should at least get something whorthwhile to play with.... and mages do suck at pvp, watch them squirm before a DSS or an anti magic field
@LynxNGaizk ok for youre information i was pretty good pvp with magic build no firestorm though i chose fireball. firestorm can 1 hit players aswell. sum people use the walking firestorm glitch wich is very overpowered. u can watch vid firestorm glitch. so mages are not weak in pvp it only requires less skill to use. wich makes it only overpowered. not many players use anti magic field. most use warding wich is very anoying for pshycical atack fighters. but warding doesnt increase mage faith

@bazooka1hitko Listen, theyre not the completely useless type or anything, really, you dont really need to fight an uber build to get yourself killed over some mistakes, Thing is, theyre tactics/weapons are not on par... For a mage build to actually get some pressure on you with their puny enchanted/crescent/moon weapons is hard, its only fair then because your own build sucks at pvp.. Really now there isnt much that hasnt been said or done on Demons Souls PVP, and mages on PvP are below optimal
@LynxNGaizk no you listen a moon weapon does near equal damage to a blessed weapon only no hp regen. they dont ave to waste all theire mp casting cursed weapon. a moon weapon is better then sharp crushing and quality but it cant eb cursed the curse effect last only 1 minute after that they will be the one doing greater damage u can use old spice but while using old spice they can combo u to death. if they are a spellsword build a normal mage wil cast firestorm and theres a glitch of it. danger
@bazooka1hitko Try to compare a Blueblood, a cursed/enchanted Sharp katana , a blessed Mirdan Hammer,a cursed/blessed Quality MH, or even the goddamn milkbone, Anyway you slice it the mages got suckier weapons than most builds when it comes to PVP, Warden wont stop high tier builds either and every spell in the game can be dodged as long as you know your way, hell most can be blocked with a DSS, so, while a mage can kill you in a few slashes from his weapons that doesnt mean its gonna happen
@LynxNGaizk moon weapons can be used on almost every weapon so they can use katanas, mirdan hammer. in demons souls theres no such thing as a perfect weapon when i compare a katana with a mirdan hammer i think stun lock noobs and push lock noobs. there are many good weapons estoc great speed great riposite/backstab damage. kilij great speed very good when 2 handed. claymore medium speed great atack range. grat axe extremly powerfull. those weapons are better then katana, hammer and bbs imo.
@bazooka1hitko Seriously tho, you really compare a moon katana to an enchanted sharp katana? You are MILES away... even unenchanted the katana does more damage, and then enchanted its just insane, Granted the claymore has a mounstrous range and the Great Axe has nasty attack animations, but all in all, theres no real counter to the mirdan hammer other than a katana, and then its just a soft counter.. until they nerf the mirdan hammer, the whole pvp scene will be dominated by them and pushlockers
@LynxNGaizk Get a DEX oriented char with a sharp katana and ANY mage char holding any moon or crescent weapon, the DEX will win unless you are powerleveling both dex and magic, in which case your char will either have an extremely high level (outside the common pvp range 100-120) or your vitality and endurance stat will be ridiculously low, thus STILL losing to a DEX Build... and THEN the mirdan hammer defeats dex builds, really now, its reach, its speed, and the decent damage score, its just gg
@LynxNGaizk i do ave a dex build but i do not use it for uchigatana i use it with estoc for backstab so basicly for stealth and i use kilij for fair fights. kilij is good weapon. i use katanas on a spellsword build it does around 400 damage wich is enough and u can use warding to counter cursed weapon. a blessed mirdan hammer will beat a mage build but faith buils are made to kill mages. moon weapons will not deal great damage on faith builds becuz of their mage defence.
@bazooka1hitko In the end, while any of the exotic weapons you mention have their upsides and can be alot of fun to use, their fight techniques wont cut it to the ordinary MH, bbs or Katana, all in all, theyre just too strong, too fast, too balanced to have a weapon to counter them, even if it does more damage they still cant compete to the prowess of the weapon itself, the mirdan hammer is the final example with a lower than average dmg but insane reach and speed... thus mages SUCK
@LynxNGaizk lol ur making some big mistakes a mage build with 50 mage 40 end its the same as haveing 50 dex and 40 end. the moon uchigatana does more damage the a unenchanted shar uchigatana. like 80 more and like 40 more to a unenchanted hilltless. a moon uchigatana however deals great damage on warding while a enchanted sharpp uchi does bad to warding. so you can counter the curse spell by warding spell. wich makes spellsword a bit better then dex build.
Actually, it depends. The way you're looking at it, is true. But you aren't taking into account that a Hiltless +5 at it's true potential is the best weapon in the game. (Granted you have good DEX). The Hiltless's full potential is with Cursed Weapon and possibly dual-wielding a second Uchi. Cursed Hiltless +5 does around 600+ last time I checked. Might be 800 now.
Actually to be honest there. I have the ost of Demon's Souls and Ickylols's version are the right and corrected ones. The ost's are the ones that are swapped,kind sir of you. I've checked, and ripped them myself into mp3 formats just to let you know.

I just used my Lava Bow to kill it. He died in like 5 seconds....of course my character is at Soul Level 118.

On my 48 or so dex,
My hiltess +5 is 349, Moon Uchi is 348 and Sharp Uchi is around 320.

I think that you have the Leechmonger and Dirty Colossus themes swapped.
Still, an appropriately menacing theme for the Colossus. Too bad I got careless at the end of the fight - we both killed each other.

Hmm... I went back, replayed the fights, and you are indeed correct.
I made the mistake of going by the OST; it seems that it also switched the Armor Spider and Dragon God tracks.

Thats alright. I'm was very surprised that Atlus rushed the OST musics for Demon's Souls and they made some rush ins to be corrected.
