If you look closely at the real mother she has black spots on the side of her face and the one the baby seal came up to was actually not its mother (you can tell because she didnt have any spotting on her face like the real mom does) and she began hitting the baby. The real mother eventually hears her baby's calls and comes up to baby in the end. Poor baby when it got slapped by that other seal tho. lol. Baby looked depressed after that! lol
