@9998833 If you haven't already joined, go to your local state Patriot Guard website and sign up. It is easy enough and you don't need to have a bike, all who want to join are welcome, this is what it is all about honor, respect, and serve.

I used to work for the military as an administrator and I have the UTMOST respect for our service menbers. It is because of them that we are able to remain safe as a nation. I don't agree with or promote senseless war, but I understand the need for military protection. Our fallen heroes don't get enough respect. Plain and simple.

Been PGR for years. Our community's 1st Chief of Police passed away 3 yrs ago & his family begged this rider to loan his H-D for a funeral procession.

They then took it joy riding and inflicted over $5000 in damages. When the rider expected them to cover the damages they tried to intimidate him and file charges on him.

The only people to stand up for this rider WAS VETERANS.

The local P.D., district attorney and J.P. all lied to him to cover for their cop buddy.

II am a widow of 37 years to a USMC veteran. He died of service connected disabilities, who had to come home from Vietnam to being mocked from the very country he was defending. And he said, "I would do it again." He never talked much about his experiences, except that his close friend was blown out of the fox hole they were in. Although PGR members are mostly motorcycle riders you don't need to ride to join.  I drive a car and joined the PGR in 2008. Best thing I've ever done. We also attend deployments and welcome homes, at the request of the military or family.

God Bless these riders, as a mother of a fallen hero I know the pain and sorrow that these poor families are enduring. The Patriot Riders were at my son's funeral and stayed at my home outside all night the night before. It is just not natural to out live your children, but thanks to these wonderful riders my son was buried in peace and I will forever be grateful to them. Rest in peace all Soldiers yor are loved and remembered. Thank you for your service.
