That parallels my experience, Steve. Saw he in a small venue in Cincinnati adn then in the large arena in the same city during that tour. it was awesome. Darryl Hall was with her and i think oats as well but I am not sure.
Carly looked pretty confident and secure when I seen her TWICE during the Letters Never sent tour in 1994 & 1995 (Columbus & Cleveland). She was great! In Columbus she was getting her courage up in a club like setting and than the next year in Cleveland she played a regular venue with thousands of people. The only way you get over stage fright is to keep performing. She is having money problems now and she should just hit the road and do a nice tour!
Ouuuwhee -- this is a gem. Having been her fan since 1975, her roots with sister Lucy Simon are far more than what is initially heard. Excellent post.
This is amazing! It's great to see this early video when Carly was into folk music, really nice harmonies with Lucy.
Of course, Carly's fame came when she got into a more "pop" genre but still, it is nice to see her singing folk in this early, early video. Thanks for posting this.

Funny how assured she comes off and how she was so frightened of performing live later on.
