As for acne treatments, I know what you mean about the prescription route - it's a hard road. But for people who have cystic acne, or acne that's caused from within, no amount of topical solutions are going to work. So.. sometimes you can spend a lot of time, emotional stress, and pain, trying to figure that out. When you should have just gone to the dermatologist and gotten meds.

Just my story! :D

I did light treatment and it really exacerbated my acne, it was bad. I had to stop.
