I could do a better job than her and im not a doctor...i want my 1:20 she just wasted of my lifee...anyhow 2 things it does do....kills bacteria on the skin by a chemical reaction on ur skin tht allows oxygen to be released....which in turn kills bacteria as they cant live in this environment and it also breaks down the skin which in turn breaks down current spots and stop new ones forming so go shove ur phd up ur ass!!!!

i use a 10% soap, it has been the ONLY product that got rid of my severe acne, but oh my god, it peels my skin like a snake. but since nothing else works, i'll stick to it. even if i put a vitamin e lotion on top, it is still peels.

It basically provides oxygen to the skin which destroys P acne. the bacteria that causes acne vulgaris. You SHOULD USE 2.5% benzoyl peroxide because it is less irritatind but still provides equal or better results than 5% and 10%. Irritation also causes redness and acne so 2.5% is the best.

So i'll tell How It Works:

1- Acne caused by bacteries on the skin.

2- Bacteries does not like oxigen.

3- Benzoyl Peroxide produces oxigen in the pores so bacteries stop groving and therefore causing inflammation.

benzoyl peroxide is my bestfriend!! i used to have really bad acne, but then i found out about BP and now my skin is satin smooth and clearer than ever!! you just have to be patient with it, although i started seeing dramatic results just after about a week. defintley recomend it!

@rugby121 10% BPO is fine to start off if you are dealing with body acne. Make sure to apply a non-comedogenic sunscreen to any treated area that is exposed to the sun because BPO can make the skin photo-sensitive.
