Imagine they made a tv series out of this game. Skaarjs are enimies of the humans as the humands are sent on missions to research na pali. At the same time, theres a half human half skaarj wanting to create a world war among Titans, Kralls, sliths, mercenaries, brutes, humans and skaarjs, just so he can obtain a POWERFUL weapon.

@85jakub Unreal Gold is simply Unreal plus Return to Na Pali mission pack. This song is from the original Unreal, or vanilla Unreal if you wish.

You know...the moment you hear this,you just say "That's the theme",why? because it's Epic,and if it's the ending song...it means it tells you what you played,and it gives you a feeling that you will miss it...so eventually,you can call it the Main theme,since when you finish the game,you know that this is the theme you will remember,and this is the one that will forever remind you that you played a game that changed the gaming world =D

Unreal, Unreal Tournament '99, Quake, DOOM, Half-Life and all those original classics.

Screw MW2 or Halo. THIS is what it's all about, classic original gameplay with the best storylines. Game developers didn't care about graphics back then.

I wish it would've stayed like that.

@Sceptorful right. First time I heard this tune I thought that prehaps the prisoner thinks "goodbye, nali, without you this place would be an even worse nightmare!"

Just hearing this really makes me think - maybe when prisoner 849 left, half the planet's population alerady knew him/her - and the escape pod caught the eyes of nali that might be there. Probably a bit sorrowing for them to see their rescuer leaving...

@iLikeTheUDK I apologize for not using "you're". The ending makes me wonder how long prisoner 849 stayed in his escape pod? IF you count the expansion then even in the end he's drifting in space, waiting - again. It would be really lonely.

@Sceptorful He was caught by a human spachip named Mathews I believe. It's in wikipedia.

When he was caught, they sent him back to NaPali in a mission and when he would be back he would have a full pardon to come back to Earth. Well the plan was to kill him when the information was secured, he only realized that when he heard a transmission in a fallen ship on the Na Pali planet. You should cehck wikipedia it tells exactly what happened

This is one of the game's best tracks (along with Hub 3/Sunspire and Shared Dig). Parts of it sound vaguely similar to Return to NYC in Deus Ex (being by the same composer, not surprising).

Definitely one of the best games ever made. Had a few downsides but some parts were so amazing I still feel like playing this game now when I get a chance (free time), preferably with someone in coop. I absolutely loved the first two levels. I remember playing it just to wander around admiring the maps' geometry, the graphics and the atmosphere.

A great adventure I've got a sentiment to.

On Liandri Archives, it was the Main Title, but on the game its really the ending theme. But, I don't know the difference if its the Main Title or Ending Theme.
