  • I would like to know how tough is Sifu Gary Lam?

  • @Takeshiii Go to his school in LA and request a respectful closed door challenge if he even thinks your worthy of his time. I bet after you will want to learn from him

  • nice montage but is there a point to it ? other than wing chun looks cool ? and have you actually thrown a punch in your life ?

  • @DrAndreiPopescu oh my god you are clearly a dipshit!sifu evangellos is a vip bodygaurd in the region that every summer is full of drunken tourists and they jsu hit everybody so keep your retarded clever thinking for your self!HAVE you thrown a punch on your life?eh?

  • He is good, but he is also a very big guy. You take a WWF guy doing WC, he would be unstoppable.

  • etsi re ellada kai sto wing chun na fenomaste...

  • This video is REAL! No Special Effects, No Editing, Just plain pure Wing Chun training, Sifu Evangelos Style!

Its realness makes it very interesting to watch and a GREAT educational tool in Wing Chun Training.

  • Like I said in the previous video,

    SOME THINGS ARE SIMPLY BETTER!

    The video speaks for itself!

  • beautiful wing tsun..

  • It's nice being bigger than everyone. Your Wing Chun is impressive. Can you Push someone bigger than you and stronger that easy?

    Lüdenscheid

  • Hilarious how he relies almost only on muscle power and speed.

Yea I know, it may look good to the newbies, but it aint that hard to tell he never learned wing chun properly.

Actually Ι read he did fast-"learning" lessons from a gary lam direct student for 2 years and become ..sifu.

Damn, I think he also offers VIP bodyguarding.

  • OK first of al i am a certificated level 3 sifu from Grandmaster Lam i start to train his system 2003 from my friend and first direct student from Europe after his second trainings trip to Hong Kong before that we train wong sheung leung lineage from Berry Lee in Germany..

after 2 years of intense training i got 2005 my level 1 certification in Los Angeles after 3 months of daily 6-8 hours private lessons there, i was several times since then in L.A and brought sifu 3 times to Greece...

  • last time 2 months ago for one month private lessons with him al day hands on him to accomplish the very high skill and lethal level 3 i will assist the Grandmaster in October as well in the huge seminar in London.

I used more than 1oo times Wing Chun the last years there where it belongs..on the Street..

you should have read my biography on my website and see more videos the link is on my Chanel..

    for the rest..come to try..:-))))

  • @sifuevangelos hi evangelos, doesnt gary lam teaches wong shung leung vint tsun??

  • @Beast1333 once you master the art you can basically do anything you want...when you trap your oppenents arms for instance, a hook or or overhand or even a haymaker can be used to deal the finishing blow...that is still wing chun

i find it hilarious how so many people become slaves of wing chun rather than its master

"don't concentrate on the finger, or you will miss all that heavenly glory"

  • @Beast1333 Yes i analyzed the movements sometimes it looks like its not that well choreograped, i think he is not steffing towards his partner properly, but this might be a for safety reasons

  • @Beast1333 @Beast1333 Hi Beast, you think that the goodness of someones Wing Chun is directly proportional to the time that he practised it? There are a lot of WC masters, I don´t care of their WC practise time, I care of their WC flowing. RESPECT to you and all of WC people.

  • @Beast1333 Allow me to say that he is one of the few teachers i have seen whom i believe he can deliver the art in a serious fight. I am no new at this but i am also not his student...I really see that he has got the meaning of WC and shows what is neccessary to fight with the art effectively and fluent. If would be hilarious to talk about stance and little things of theory ignoring the facts of physics and reality. He is a big guy so what...He works out! That is good! Keep up the arts pal :)

  • His bizeps is too big !! He were faster wen his bizeps are not so (big).

  • damn he`s fast!

  • great work!

  • Does he show parts of the Biu-Tze form? O .o

I'm not sure because i didn't get so far, but as far as i know...

  • really good...

  • RESPECT^^

He is very tough and deadly... But he is also wise, and very warm and patient with his students..The best way of teaching i ever saw..

Elias here one of your students summer of 2007 ^^

  • Just curious if there is an MMA fighter out there using these techniques and consistently winning?

  • I've seen a few use parts, but not as a whole. The "sensitivity" that is needed takes a long time to develop, time that most MMA fighters don't have to devote to it when other things get them ready faster. Close in I've made some pretty tough guys feel stupid even with my eyes closed, but if I had to get ready for an MMA fight, I'd be better spending my time on grappling. Most guys want to fight within 6 months, not 5 or 6 years from now.

  • Ich mach Yong_Tjun und ich muss sagen, dass es WT änelt... manche tächniken sind vom aufbau gleich, aber auch anders... ist aber auch geiel, WT ^^

  • The only problem with this style of fighting is that you need to be as big and as strong as Evangelos for those things to work for you.

You can see he performed well and impressively against opponents that are about his sizes or smaller. And he is fairly big and strong.

However, if you are small and not so strong, and somebody twice his size come to you, you cannot find with those same techniques.

  • Actually mr know-it-all, It DOES teach you to use others strength against them! this is more of a small mans fighting art! but big men can too!

  • I like your style, man. I do WC under an Ip Ching school and the more I see of Gary Lam and his students the more I like it. A lot of the WC I've seen online looks really strange compared to what I've been taught, but yours looks very good. In the video I didn't see anything I didn't recognize, but the way you put it all together is creative and rock solid. While watching, I kept thinking "Wow, how come I never thought of doing that?"

By the way, I love the face-push you Gary Lam guys do!

  • Hi, how would a wing chun practitoner stop kicking bombs that several people throw, especially muai thay kicks? Is it just positioning or blocking also? It is impressive against punches however. I write in English so everyone can join the conversation...

    Thanks beforehand for your time...

  • What's that tatoo on your chest m8 ?

  • Hi, just to say I like your style a lot, very relaxed and skilful, I can see that you are a real fighter and would do well in any situation. Now I have to go and practice!

  • I really enjoy your way to play wing chun. Just very good and very precise.Distance, position, variation between right hand and left hand, the elbow control. The work on body structure is very interesting.

  • do you do sparrings or it is just the techs?

  • I'm very impressed of your techniques "evangelos".... your skill is very sharp, quick, and powerful. you are a top sifu of wing chun, is your school in greece ? I'm looking a good school in new york to learn wing chun ! I live in new york city also I want to ask you "evangelos" is wing chun a southern style ?

  • If you're in New York check out John Perkins with Ki Chuan Do attackproofdotcom
