  • This is a Beatles song - who the heck are these guys ?

  • @fd10801 gays '-'

  • Love this song...

    Elaine :)

  • great song !

  • Can't believe this rubbish was number 1 the day I was born .

  • @medljoc Are u for Real,ITS A GREAT COVER

  • number 1 ....when i was born....10/02/66...

  • my mums too ;-)

  • gutted this was no1 on my birth date so wanted something cool...aaagh

  • Just found out this was no #1 when I was born...

  • I was named after this ...and When I was 21 the lead singer sang it to me ..thanks to my dad .

  • @rosylobster How old was the lead singer then?

  • la canta mucho mejor sir james paul mccartney

  • @googlinvip10 claro, pero este fue un numero 1, debido a k michelle de los beatles no fue lanzado como sencillo

  • @gonzataker es muy sierto buen video :) y no la cantan nada mal

  • I vaguely remember a film that was shown on Top of the pops in 66, of the lead singer, and another member of the group, sat at a small table outside a restaurant, singing this song.

  • i need you! i need you! this makes me think of a special girl in my life and i have only known her for a few days but i have already fallen in love with her

  • @Michaelwaters123 True that..I know exactly what you mean..and you can't really stop thinking about her..the music doesn't help at all..

  • This was number one when i was born too as per the facebook application (!)

  • I was 7 years old when this was released and I remember it well. Hearing requests for it by the families of British Troops in Aden.......... didn't know what 'Aden' was but I remember the requests on Sunday morning radio.

  • At times, the lead singer sounds like Dick Rivers if Rivers had sung this song in English.

The band's style also is similar to the Fortunes.

  • terry widlake one of the group, went on to back roy orbison internationally and now lives in nashville and runs a pub called the sherlock holmes ...

  • good video...brings back memories...

  • my ex boss in the 70s....the singer that is......he was a good bloke...

  • Quite balls-y of them to cover a song only a year after it comes out.

  • It was exactly 6 days

  • @beatlequeen06 Very common in the 60s, infact it's been happening again quite recently.

Anything The Beatles didn't release as a single seems to have been pillaged by other groups looking for chart success.
